Movie Review: George Hamilton was wonderful

A cute flick. I'm gay and I loved it. Brenda Vaccaro was deliciously deadpan and droll. The jokes (once they started) were actually funny. Everyone else was good enough. I didn't think it was as bright and clever as the Dracula movie, but I thought it was good. And George Hamilton did a smash up uninhibited hilarious job in both parts. Zorro the Gay Blade has become a cult classic and finding copies of it on DVD is not so easy (and certainly not cheap when you can find it). I was thrilled to see the price drop a bit, and coupled with an Amazon gift coupon, I got one of my favorite movies for a reasonable price. Delightful comedy spoof on Zorro. I have never been a real fan of George Hamilton as an actor, despite some of his serious youthful acting in movies, e.g. about WW II, that were well done. As a commic Zorro, he was entertaining, adorable and brillant. I recommend this older movie to those wanting to laugh and enjoy an evening of fun. RDMMovie Review: Tops for Parodies!

As far as Comedies go, this one takes the cake. Years after not being able to view it (due to it not being available on dvd in a dvd only household) my family is *still* quoting the movie. It is so funny you won't be able to forget it! When we found out it was on dvd, we HAD to buy it. If you love comedies, you will love this movie...Movie Review: Excellent transaction
