Movie Review: Zodiac Blue Ray

I love this movie and the extras are great. I had the dvd with no extras and not Blue Ray and it was like I was seeing a new movie. You must buy this in Blue Ray if you are interested in this movie. Movie Review: WHO WAS THE ZODIAC?
Summary: 4 Stars
I saw this flick in the theatres on opening night and it was a full house of San Franciscan 's, who were all ready to experience a visual sense of the murderous crimes of the Zodiac killer.
The movie is adapted (not entirely) from a book entitled "Zodiac" written by Robert Graysmith. The movie moves at a suspensful pace, but begins to wane and become a stretch to stay interested by the final act. But overall it is cast well, acting is superb, music was wonderful and it ends on a HIGH NOTE (in my opinion)! I felt I was at every crime scene (literally) as each location was introduced throughout the movie.
It is definitely worth viewing (in my opinion) and I own the Blu Ray, which looks spectacular! The "Special Features" are insightful and I became even more entranced as a detective in solving this case from watching the movie. I don 't think you 'll be disappointed for 3/4 of the running you may have heard enough by the final 1/4 turn to the finish line.

Summary: 4 Stars
'Zodiac' is a good film that kept me interested for the whole duration, but with a slightly lack lustre ending. I know this is based on real events so the director was unable to spice the ending up too much, but I found the way it fizzled out and wrapped up the story with a few screens worth of writing at the end pretty poor pay off for well over 2 1/2 hours viewing. Saying that, this film is very atmospheric. It is excellently directed and the various actors do a top job in building suspense and keeping you hooked into the story. Some murder scenes early on are quite shocking and powerful without being excessively gratuitous, which is something in itself. Overall this is a good film, that should keep you watching, but don't expect too many plot twists or a shock ending to leave you with that feeling of satisfaction. A solid four stars.

Movie Review: Zodiac investigation
Summary: 4 Stars
It has a deliberately dated look which I didn't really care for. I would have liked a more intense experience. Had I told this story, I'd probably explored a more conspiracy - oriented look, since even the name Zodiac refers to something of a greater magnitude than just plain murder. In particular, I'd explored the possibility that it wasn't just one person but maybe something related to the spirit world and the animal world. Just one person would have most likely been caught with modern investigative tools.
