Movie Review: This DVD is puts ZZ over the Top!

I have waited years for ZZ Top to release a live DVD and it is certainly worth the wait. I saw this tour locally and this DVD is almost exactly the set and show I saw. If you are a true fan of "that little band from Texas" this is a must have. They play almost exclusively the older tunes and the concert rocks from start to finish. The old boys are still rockin' after over 30 years of playin' Texas bluse.Movie Review: Same Three Guys, Same Three Chords.

What else can you say about three guys that have been making music together for almost 40 years. I purchased this DVD after seeing the live show in Johnson City, TN. The two were very similar. These guys still rock as hard as ever, and it's amazing how much stage presence they have. If you've never had the chance to see That Lil' Ol' Band From Texas live, this is the next best thing.Movie Review: BETTER THAN A LIVE CONCERT

i SAY THAT BECAUSE OF THE CLOSE UPS. U DON'T SEE ALL THAT WHEN U ONE OF THOUSANDS IN A CROWD, EVEN CLOSE TO FRONT STAGE CENTER. i'VE SEEN ZZTOP LIVE IN CONCERT AND I ENJOYED IT IMMENSELY. NEVER THE LESS NOT HAVEING TO DEAL WITH THE CROWD PRESSING UP AGAINST U ON ALL SIDES AND STANDING IN LINE TO GET BEER OR TO PISS. Three chord rock is probably the hardest genre of music to pull off live. However, ZZ Top exceeds the everything is bigger and and better in Texas expectation with a stompin' down home stage performance where every tune is a recognizable hit made in the good ol' USA. Soy de Costa Rica, por lo tanto escribire en español mi lengua natal, me gusta la musica sobre todo rock de los 70' y algo de 80', poder ver un girpo como ZZ tops en este DVD es simplemente lo mejor buen sonido e imagen y un gran grupo, de verdad que los mejor del rock en USA es del sur y este es uno de ellos. Grande ZZ Top.
