Movie Review: Young at Heart With Rock and Roll
Summary: 5 Stars

A heart warming documentary about seniors, average age of 83, who sing rock amd roll songs on tour. You will laugh and cry as you observe them overcome their challenges and losses to do what they love. You will experience their rehearsals, frustrations and triumphs. My favorite part is when they perform at a prison and win the hearts of the inmates. You will get to know some them as they share their thoughts and feelings. They are not glamorous, just ordinary folks with an extraordinary purpose. Hope you like it!

Movie Review: Forever Young!
Summary: 5 Stars

What a wonderful documentary - and no irony intended - it just never gets old. Despite the slight egomania of the music director ( I mean, torturing the singers and the audience with "Schizophrenia"???)I defy anyone not to laugh out loud at some of the performers and performances nor to cry out loud at some of the renditions of the songs. I've purchased several copies for myself, friends and family - one for my 84 year old Mom who labels it as "good medicine" when she's feeling sorry for herself for feeling old.

Movie Review: We all should be "Young@Heart"!
Summary: 5 Stars

Young@Heart

This documentary was such a surprise as music,
inspiration, humor, drama, and joy. It connects
us with our oldest generation, showing their lives,
struggles, triumphs, and tragedies, but mostly their
determined spirits.

I bought it to take to the nursing home where my Mother is. We will be serving Christmas cookies and sharing
the laughs and tears!

Movie Review: YOUNG@HEART
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a must see docudrama. I have watched this movie on 6 different occasions, and each time I find myself inspired. This drama will make you laugh, cry, and never want to complain again about getting old.

Everyone needs to watch this movie at least once. We all need a Bob Cilman in our lives and we all need to be a member of a chorus at least once.

Young@Heart is the documentary to see. You will find your life better for witnessing the lives of this group of senior citizens!

Movie Review: Watch this movie
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie will make you laugh and cry--about a dozen times each. I am a 35 year old male NICU nurse who has been somewhat desensitized by death, based on the fact that I experience it more often than the average person. That said, if you do not bawl your eyes out when Fred Knittle sings "Fix You" on stage then you are one hard, hard person. I watched that part over and over again, crying each time. It made me feel again. I can't remember the last time I have seen anything that powerful on film.
