Movie Review: Boyz Rule

I really enjoyed this movie. I've been wanting to see it for a really long time, but according to most reviews I've read opinion's have been that this movie was a bit pedophilic if you're an adult that's watching it, which of course made me very hesitant. I'm happy my curiosity out weighed my hesitance because this movie was really good. I didn't experience any of the "uncomfortable, shocking, shameful" moment's that many other viewers claimed to have while watching this movie. Everyone has their own opinion's and the only one that counts is your own ;) I loved this movie and i would recommend it to anyone interested in love and coming of age stories.Movie Review: Happily suprised

I always buy 4-5 star rated movies from Amazon because I will likely enjoy them. Honestly I did not have high expectations of this movie when I went to watch it, but it turned out awesome. This is not a typical theme or movie at all. About life in an all-boys boarding school, during coming-of-age years, and the teachers & principal trying to agree on what is right & wrong. I was hooked a few minutes into the movie. The director is brave for some of the artistic camera work, and talented for pulling it off so artistically.Movie Review: You Are Not Alone ;; A great movie about coming of age.

I enjoyed this nice little movie about these two boys coming of age and learning about their sexuality. It was done without the usual guilt or bad feelings that are usually depicted when people come to grips with their homosexuality.I liked how this film took it's time with the subject and did not take sides, for or against, it. The filmmakers just let the narritive flow. Being a gay man myself this warm movie has touched me deeply and it is one I will return to time and time again.Movie Review: Fantastic Movie

This was one of the sweetest and most gentle movies I have seen. I highly recommend it. I wish I had experienced this when I was young but sadly, due to the puritanism in this country, I did not. Instead, all my straight friends in high school were having these beautiful early experiences while I was suffering, alone, and confused. I am glad to know it is not like that today (except in places like Texas). Young people today are very lucky.Movie Review: Know what you're getting

I bought this after having watched many clips on youTube. I definitely recommend the film--but to a particular audience. I don't think this is a movie that anyone should just sit down and start watching. If you know at least a little bit about what it's about, then great, I hope you'll enjoy it.
It's a Danish film from the 70's about youth and sexuality. It is in English subtitles.
