Movie Review: Good Gig No Stereo Track

I have the VHS of this show,the stereo track is superb,but the DVD 2.0 audiotrack is MONO!! BAHH,you can use the 5,1 thru normal stereo system (ie not using the optical input) to get a similar effect though.
Nice show pity about the audio.

Love Yes. Love Soderbergh. Hate this.
In fact, I like all the Yes line-ups, including the Buggles, but not this show. If you go to "Bonus Materials" and choose "Director's Cut", that eliminates the extremely annoying 50's graphics that fly over the concert footage you'd like to be watching, but there's still the "Mr. Rabin and His Incredible Back-up Band" factor (Jon is relagated to back-up singer many times, and doesn't look thrilled about it). Some of the instrumentation and vocals also seem pre-recorded. Mr. Rabin is a great guitar player and singer/song writer, but "finger-tapping" in a Yessong? This just isn't a classic Yesshow - it's Yes with Eddie Van Halen.
Recommend: ANY OTHER Yes DVD, and "Jon Anderson - Tour of the Universe", they're all very good.

Movie Review: When Yes SOLD out....and boy did they ever on this UGH!!!!

Drama,90125,Big Generator,Union,and Talk....Ugh....the Rabbbit er im mean the Rabin years....how he and (by god the original members) of yes allowed them to drop so far down musically it was so maddening....For one thing while rabin while a decent guitarist had no business being in this band as did trevor horn or tony kaye for that matter... it was an Awful Period of Music...and it showed....Yes does their best work when ALL the members are in the studio at the same time that when they came alive. not when they where worlds apart sending their bits over the phone or touching up on computers...this was weak uninspired music...No colleberation and it showed in the final product.none of these albums and i mean none of them i have listed here can EVER compete with the MASTERWORKS of Close To The Edge, Relayer, Tails From Topographacial Oceans, The Yes Album, or Fragile....EVER. Period End of story. and Musically To compare Tony Kaye & " The Wizzard" Rick Wakeman on Keyboards & Trevor Rabin & "The Mastreo" Steve Howe On Guitars is completely laughauble.....why waste your money on such a worthles and WEAK video...when there is so MUCH better YES on DVD out there... Try...Keys to Assention, Songs From Tsongas or Even Yes-Symphonic Live and of these will blow this joke of a dvd right out of the water... Why this would ever be released and see the light of day i cant imagine.... save your money.... buy a better yes dvd.....youd be better served than with this pop sell out crap. does anyone else notice the weak audio mix?????
very bizarre, during the menu the audio is 10 x as loud and then when you play the show it drops dramatically in volume?
is this unique or do all of you have the same problem?/?
my Denon3805 (120w/ch) is turned just about all the way up to "1"????
