Movie Review: XXX - Blu-Ray Edition Review

I have the DVD version and recently purchased the Blu-Ray. The upconvertion DVD image is not as good as the Hi-Def blu-ray one, but the blu-ray image is not as crystal clear as i've already seen in other blu-rays. If you like this movie (just like i do) this blu-ray is a must have. I forgot to mention that the sound really rocks !!!Movie Review: Could Of Been A Little Less Grainy

Purchased this,wasted money. If your gonna release high def movies(sony),shouldn't they be high def? There is way too much grain on this disc and when there isn't the picture is 'soft'. When I say soft I mean not much details, especially in 'face' shots(don't get me wrong there are some bright spots on the disc). Love the high def format alot but studios need to make sure we are getting just that on every release and not rush these things to market just to make a quick profit(the format is about the 'DETAILS'). If you do it right the 1st time you'll find us coming back for more without hestitation, without having to go to sights like highdefdigest reading reviews to make sure the video quality is OK.Movie Review: Sony lays a blue egg

I went to my local Best Buy who was featuring a demo of the High-def Blu-ray set-up, (a month ago I went for the HD-DVD demo but they were sold out on the players!). Anyway, I picked a time when I could mess-around with it, because they almost never have their monitors set well, and XXX was the DVD they had in the player. All I can say is after twenty minutes of farting around, this better not be the standard for Blu-ray qaulity, because it was pretty weak for a high-def image, it was far inferior to the THE LAST SAMURA HD-DVD they had running on HD-DVD. I'm kind of an "early adopter," but since there is a waiting list on the HD-DVD players, and I didn't like what I saw of Blu-ray, im going to sit on my hands a bit longer.Movie Review: XXX - Review on the actual Blu-Ray

First off, I like the film. But... the blu-ray is disappointing. The clarity is not what I expected and no better than the DVD. In a word, grainy. So, if you got the film on DVD, just keep than and enjoy a fun action film. The blu-ray has no further special features or anything else special.
