Movie Review: Witchboard.
Summary: 3 Stars
It's o.k. I guess but if you expect it to be like night of the demons then forget it, the film was written and directed by Kevin Tenney who also made the excellent Night of the demons, the story takes place at an appartment where there is a party with friends, one of the geusts happens to be Linda's (Tawney Kitaen) ex-boyfriend and her current fiance (Todd Allen) is not pleased to see him so they argue alot. Linda's ex-boyfriend also happens to have brought a Ouija board with him so they use it at the party and contact the spirit of a young dead boy or thats what they think. Soon Linda gradualy becomes obssesed with the board then slowly becomes haunted and possesed by what seems like an evil spirit so its up to her fiance and ex-boyfriend who completely despise each other to help her out. Some mystereous deaths happen and Jim becomes a suspect, now what I didn't like about this film was that it was filled with cliche characters like the weird psychic and the aggresive detective who was determined to get Jim and the constant arguing and fighting between the two male characters was getting old real fast, but otherwise the film wasn't that bad it was pretty good but you might want to check Night of the demons first if you haven't seen it then get this film.Movie Review: Tawny's ghost story!

Tawny Kitean is without a doubt one of the most gorgeous women ever to grace the big-screen. It is unfortunate that her movie output has not been greater than what it has been. She is a beautiful red-head and there are not TOO many actresses in Hollywood in that mold!
The present movie is about how things go wrong when you tamper with a Ouiji board. Poor Tawny plays a character who becomes obsessed and possessed more & more by the board. For what it is, it is an OK film.
IF it didn't have Tawny, this film would not be worth seeing. She looks fantastic with her late-80s style "big" hair. There is also a brief glimpse of her nude as she steps out of the shower. But, you better have your "pause" button on your DVD player ready as it is a very quick shot.

This movie is a mixed bag and some people will either love it or hate it.i fall somewhere in between.the story has some good premise but it drags in a few spots.there isnt must horror action or blood and gore and most of the "horror" is left up to the veiwers imagination.this alone may turn of some horror fans.i thought it was an ok movie that could have been better.check out night of the demons by the same director of this if you want better chills,thrills and blood/gore.id say rent this at most for horror fans or buy at no more then $10 like i did.they dont even show the evil spirit except for two times and they were very breif at that and only three kills,with only one being somewhat bloody.this movie is more of a thriller then horror.Movie Review: Formula time passer

Jack and Jill play spooky with an Ouija Board (that looks creepier as time slowly passes due to the director constantly exchanging boards to see if we notice.) Naturally, they conjure up the wrong spirit. The spirit is a Jason want-a-be. We have the dumb cop that figures it out too late.
Of course, no one stays in the car. You just have to axe-cept this film for what it is.
A side note is that the DVD has a commentary (10 years later) and the making of; that is if you finished the movie and are still interested.

I had a dream at the start of this year, that 'Witchboard' came out on DVD.(Whatever that means). So I'm glad that it's finally going to get a release on DVD. I haven't seen this film in around the last 10 years, so I hope that it still has the same effect on me that it did as a little kid. I hope I still like it. Witchboard was a movie that I grew up having hired it nemourous time throughout my growing up, and then as I got older they didn't have it at the vido store anymore. I've always admired Tawny Kitaen as an actress, and very filmilar with the other actors too. One being Patch from 'Days of our lives. Well I'll be counting down the months till the release.
