Movie Reviews of Winter Break (Widescreen)

Movie Review: Winter Break-romantic comedy with a heart
Summary: 5 Stars

The movie is a charming, funny, sometimes raunchy, but sweet portrayal of a young cleaver group of college grads finding freedom, fun and love in the cool, hip town of Aspen,Colorado. The ski scenes are breathtaking. The movie is charming and has more heart than most of the comedic films that have been released recently. It's a movie aimed for a young audience, but one that can be enjoyed by all ages.

Movie Review: Fun!
Summary: 5 Stars

Winter Break is very entertaining. Funny and warm, I'll probably be watching it all winter. Seriously!

Movie Review: I loved it. And not just because Milo starred in it!
Summary: 4 Stars

The main group of characters had great chemistry. It was one of those groups where, even if they had a sucky time making the movie, it certainly didn't look like it on screen. It looked like they had a lot of fun.
This movie was very good, and very funny. It was a little cheesy at times, but what good movie isn't? It was kinda like American Pie, with snow and Milo. I mean... you can't go wrong! And no one molests baked goods, either! It's great stuff!

Movie Review: Very cool flick, glad I got it.
Summary: 4 Stars

Very cool flick. Similar to American Pie yes, however, in it I found a killer soundtrack by bands I had never heard of and a cool story. The only thing I had a hard time with was the character who was basically meant to be a Jack Black clone. NOT POSSIBLE! Jack Black Rules!! Overall, the flick is a 4/5 worth the dough, good show.

Movie Review: Better Than You'll Expect
Summary: 3 Stars

You would think that this movie is a really cheesy teen flick with gratuitous nude scenes and absolutely no story. Just look at the horrible box cover . . . it does no justice to what the movie really tries to cover: growing up, friendship, and love.

I just saw this movie for the first time the other day. I was expecting it to be a horrid piece of junk, but the movie completely surprised me. At best, critics will give it a B-/C+ (which is good considering that it's intended audience is the same people who love the American Pie movies).

The story? It's about a group of friends from Aspen who are moving on with their lives after college. Honestly, it's everything American Pie 2 wasn't but SHOULD HAVE BEEN.

Another good thing is that most teen-flick or WB watchers will recognize most of the cast. Although their acting isn't memorable, they do a fine job representing a typical group of guys and gals after college.

Overall, I was quite pleased with the movie. I didn't see it on DVD, so I can't comment on any special features or anything. But strictly about the movie, you'll have a good time watching this with your buddies or gals. Although it's far from being a really great film, it does stand out among the newer (2000-2005) teenage or young adult releases.
