Movie Reviews of Will & Grace - Series Finale

Movie Review: love it
Summary: 5 Stars

for me Will and Grace is one of the best TV series EVER. LOVE THEM

Movie Review: A overview review
Summary: 4 Stars

"Will and Grace" was stylish, moderately daring for network television with very talented performers and guests. The finale was too much poised on a fence, not dramatic enough to be really moving but not funny either. For all the gay humor, only two of the characters were gay out of the entire extended family. One of them was nearly a closet case and still too inhibited to put his arm around his life partner at the end; the other ended up living with his drug abusing female friend, who oddly never aged in spite of alcoholism and worse, a strange message. Like "Seinfeld" all the characters were selfish to the point of being obnoxious, particularly Grace, but on "Seinfeld" there was some self-knowledge about that, in fact that was the subject of the finale. For this reason I don't think it will age well. Moments like Minnie Driver dropping the booty she'd stored in various orafices and Debbie Reynolds getting her stole caught in the door will hold up, but the slick and tame way much of the comic drama was handled won't, in fact hasn't already. The cast is very talented and I hope most of them end up on stage in musicals, but I suspect their television careers will never shed these characters' shadows. The next gay network comedy will owe a lot to "Will and Grace", but here's hoping it's about two men in love instead of a man who'd rather be married to his high school girl friend if she only were properly endowed. PS I'd love to know who was the actor in the body cast. I'm guessing it was Tom Cruise.

Movie Review: Good ending but bittersweet
Summary: 4 Stars

The finale was a great ending to a good series. Yes, the last few seasons were uneven in writing, but everything was tied up in this ending. It was so sad to think that 2 best friends and roommates for 25 years would go 16 years without seeing or speaking to each other. While this happens in real life it doesm't have to be the case. Will and Grace could have lived their new separate lives while remaining in touch, at least occasionally. If this had happened though, their kids would know each other and the serendipitous meeting of the son and daughter at college would not have been possible. After the show ended, I called a good friend I had not spoken to in a while, made me want to keep those old friendships active, despite distance and different lives!

Movie Review: I DO LOVE IT!!!!!
Summary: 4 Stars

I'm so glad "W&G" finished like that.
It has no something new and something surprising, but THAT was just as well.
I pause to realize it is not only "Will and Grace" but "Jack and Karen".
They (I mean creators) also finished "Jack and Karen"'s story with full of happiness.

If you ask me, only one bad thing about "W&G" is series5~8 haven't released yet as DVD.
I don't know why and why series final was released independently.
(So I rated it 4 stars)

I hope all of series will be released soon!!!!!

Movie Review: Please don't be mad!!
Summary: 4 Stars

Of course I can't review this, the episode hasn't even aired yet.. But, I'm writing because I'm upset with all of the people complaining about the release of the finale before the rest of the series. Does no one remember Friends? They released the finale before they released the last few seasons.
