Wild Things is a bit of an odd one really, as there's no easy way to define it - it's got sex, corruption, murder, comedy, camp value - but there is one word which sums it up nicely. Entertaining. The story is hilariously over the top, with double cross after double cross and sudden sharp turns in the plot, but it's not meant to be taken seriously. The real star is Bill Murray, who plays it deadpan (as normal) as a shyster lawyer and nearly steals the show. It really is great fun, and any film that has Denise Richards naked can't be all bad. The commentary is genial enough (although during the threesome scene they all sound like naughty schoolboys who are watching a porno...), but don't be enticed by the 'Deleted Scenes' - only one is of any substance, and I'd guess they last about two minutes. Don't know why they bothered. By the way, DO NOT watch the trailer before the film, it gives away the first plot twist of the movie which is never helpful. Definitely worth buying, but don't expect Shakespeare, because this is just meant to be glossy entertainment and it passes that test with flying colours. With enough surprises to put The Usual Suspects to shame, this is a great film which deserves your full attention.Movie Review: Calling this a guilty pleasure is an understatement

John McNaughton (Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer) directed this purposely sleezy erotic potboiler with a plot so convulted and loaded with so many twists you won't know what to make of it by the time the credits roll. Wild Things is one of those films in the vein of Basic Instinct and even Showgirls that is pure overproduced Hollywood trash, but you can't turn your head away. The story revolves around a respected Florida teacher (Matt Dillon) who is accused of rape by a wealthy student (Denise Richards) and a "wrong side of the tracks" student (Neve Campbell in goth/punk chick mode). All the while a seedy detective (Kevin Bacon) is on to them all, but as we soon learn after the first half hour of the film, nothing is as it seems. Bacon (who also served as executive producer), Campbell, Dillon, Richards, and the always fantastic Bill Murray play it straight, but Wild Things is best enjoyed for it's infamous visual thrills (including the threeway between Dillon, Campbell, and Richards, and Bacon's revealing shower scene) rather than it's story, and as a whole this film is a bona fide guilty pleasure worth watching again.Movie Review: good movie with lota twist and turns

The movie like I said had alota twist and turns.The teacher played by matt dilan is accused of raping of his students who is played by denise richards. Later they find out that dilan is innocent. As the allegded victom nev cambel tells what really happens but thats not over. Soon you will find out a tale of revenge,murder,payback as this movie unravels the trueth with twist and turns wich will keep you watching till the very end of the movie.
The characters are well developed.
The plot is good for some people like me.
The girls were very sexy and provacative specially cambel.
So if you use your basic instincts on this youll see if you enjoy it.
By the way I kept hearing how the 3 some is the only good part in the movie. I mean yeah the movie is good but the 3 some was like less than 3 minutes. Hell it was less than 2 minutes.
I wish they had of made it longer but oh well.
The dvd features are all right the quality is good.
So go with your instincs and check this movie out.
