Movie Review: Classic 80's

For those of us who loved the 80's, this a classic 80's comedy! Madonna gives a hilarious performance and outstanding soundtrack. Griffen Dunne plays a straight and narrow attorney who finds himself in a love predicament: he is scheduled to marry his boss' daughter, when a convicted felon (Madonna) interrupts his plans. This movie is a little bit of everything; murder mystery, keystone cops, pimps and thugs, corporate corruption, and of course, a love story. This is a Spice Girl Madonna. Fun. I watched this movie as many times I watched Grease and Superman II. This movie was just so amazing visually. It almost looked like the fifties and Madonna was so much like Judy Holliday.
I had a great time watching it. The cartoon Madonna, walking out of prison like Snow White, but then kind of dangerous when she holds that gun. It made me feel good when I was I kid. I preferred it to the critically acclaimed Desperately Seeking Susan, which I didn't enjoy and love until I got older. Fun movie.

I have to say that i'm the biggest fan of Madonna besides her music which i love i also like her movies,but this one is my all time favorite from hers!!!!!!! Madonna at her best with this one and its the best Madonna movie from the 80's!!!!! Madonna gets out of prison and has no idea that her attorney which is on his way to go pick her up ends up in total destruction and ends up falling in love with the free spirited Madonna!!!!!! This Madonna movie needs to be in a great collection of movies!!!!!!Movie Review: I give it 5 stars because:

...it's pretty damn funny! If you go into it thinking your gonna be watching Superbad, you are gonna hate this! It is a great simple comedy. I have heard Madonna herself trash the movie and her performance, pretty messed up. Can you picture anyone else playing that part??? There is so much subtle humor in it that it's easy to see why it was panned. Also, the action sequences are shot just like an action movie. Damn good combination.
