Movie Review: 100% Suspense
Summary: 5 Stars
I think this movie is very good, it was suspense all the time. The music is amazing, the camera angles and the lighting are great and I loved Camilla Belle's character because she's not the typical teenager, she's a more mature girl. Obviously some people that watched this movie ask themeselves "Who is this guy?", "Where did he come from?", please look at the title of this film. It says "When a STRANGER calls". So, it's a stranger. What do you expect to be the killer? Jill's father?.
Anyway, the only thing I didn't like is that the movie takes a long time for the action to start, but once it began I couldn't even move. The end was cliché but, you could've expected this because that's the way this movies are don't you think?
Movie Review: Intense and creepy movie!

Out of all the horror movies I've seen, this is definitely one of my favorites. It's intense, creepy, thrilling, and more. I don't know why it got so much negativity, but I guess this film is more directed as scary towards younger people like kids and teenagers. I think it's way better than "One Missed Call" or anything stupid and unrealistic like that. I think it's a very good remake with great acting and terrifying suspense. The ending is also really creepy, and I love it. One of the best horror movies of the 2000-2009 decade in my opinion.Movie Review: Surprising

There wasn't any gore, and there wasn't any graphic visuals, or bad language really. This was an extremely terrifying, spooky movie. I have an extensive surround sound system and let me tell you, this movie sounds better that almost anything I've ever played. That helped the terror level, the sounds people did a wonderful job. Camilla Belle did a great and believable job also. I was amazed at how scared I was (it's that good). Don't watch til it's night and the kids are tucked in, that's the ticket.Movie Review: Nice house!

When a Stranger Calls is so much better than I thought it would be. Yes, I am fully aware that some of the dialogue is corny as hell but this 90 minute kept me interested right 'til the very end. Camilla Belle isn't the best actress in town but she has potential. The house she baby sits in is incredible and so beautiful. This movie flows surprisely well and what's all the criticism guys? Scary, Intense and very entertaining! That is all I have to say about When a Stranger Calls. I have both the original and When a Stranger Calls Back and I must say this does them justice. Its the perfect movie to watch at a sleepover. I hope they release a uncut or unrated extebded dvd. But I guess what do you expect with a PG-13 move!! Anywho I highly reccommend this dvd and the original 1970's slasher classic When a Stranger Calls and the t.v. movie from 1993 When a Stranger Calls Back
