Movie Review: George Pal is the granddaddy of sci-fi filmmakers
Summary: 4 Stars
Good movie about the impending doom the world faces as a renegade red dwarf star hurtles its way on a collision course with the earth. A good screenplay which is only loosely based on the novel produced in the thirties by Philip Wylie and Edwin Balmer. Special effects presented were state of the art at the time of this film's theatrical release; but they appear cheap and crude in comparison to what we have today.
