Movie Reviews of What's New Pussycat

Movie Review: Typical sixties flick
Summary: 5 Stars

Funniest movie ever made, besides Casino Royale and
It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. I used it to write a grad psychology paper. Got an A. Everybody in the movie has a diagnosible mental illness. Ursula Andress (pictured on the cover) is a nymphomaniac. Peter Sellers (also on the cover) is bipolar. Peter O'Toole is Narcissistic. Capucine is Histronic Personality Disorder. Romy is Borderline Personality Disorder.
The wife is Bulemic (she is 300 pounds and wears a viking helmet with horns, chestplate and spear). Woody Allen is Dysthymic Personality Disorder. (We used to call this disorder Neurotic). There is also a pyromaniac. Funnier than Analyze This.

Movie Review: A Golden Oldie
Summary: 5 Stars

Having heard the title song by Tom Jones long ago, I never knew from where it originated until MGM played this on the tube. This sure is one funny movie. Peter Sellers and Peter O'Toole, two of the biggest actors in the sixties, make a great pair and provide a unique chemistry with many laughs. Others will also find appeal in that this movie was Woody Allen's silver screen debut.

What's New Pussycat?, like most movies, won't find favor in everbody's hearts, but it sure tickles my fancy.

Movie Review: Why can't more comedies be this funny?
Summary: 5 Stars

I love this movie! Silly, fun, politically incorrect and funny as all heck. Burt Bacharach's score is marvelous--sleek, sly and sexy. Everyone in the cast looks to be having a blast, particularly during the go-cart chase finale, and their enthusiasm is infectious.

I've no idea how the movie plays on a widescreen TV, but the image looks great on my 19-inch CRT TV. Many thanks to MGM for finally releasing this hilarious hit from the '60s!

Movie Review: Legandary
Summary: 5 Stars

When this film was released in the summer of 1965 it was the funniest film I
had ever seen. I paid 7 times to see this in the theater. Bought it on laser disc
years ago and now so glad to have it on dvd. Just did a theatrical production
with Paula Prentiss and she is still on top of her game even now.

Movie Review: Very happy
Summary: 5 Stars

The movie is an old favorite, so I knew what to expect. The copy I received was in new condition, and arrived promptly, and was at a very fair price. I am very happy.
