Movie Review: This is SO camp

As a former summer camp counselor, I must say that this movie is EXCELLENT! While not every camp was like this entirely (mine surely wasn't), anyone who has ever worked at or gone to a summer resident camp will enjoy this movie.This movie is what camp SHOULD have been. Some of the things here I can imagine actually happening at a summer camp. I watched this with other former counselors, and we went through and were able to say, "Oh, that character was so-and-so at my camp," and so on. (It's rather scary, but Janeane Garofalo looks EXACTLY like my camp director.)
Now a Program Director at another camp, I'm definitely showing this to my staff (at the END of the summer, so as not to give them any ideas). If you were ever a camper, watch this movie!

I swear, I had never heard of this movie until one of my friends made me watch it. Now I think it is the funniest movie I have ever seen. The writers are absolutely brilliant. Every single second of this movie is written perfectly. Now while some parts are naturally not as funny as others, I can watch this movie over and over again and still enjoy 99% of it as much as the first time. There are some great lines that you'll pick up and use over and over again. I am just surprised how few people have actually heard of it though. Invite your friends over and watch it. I can't wait for these writers to make another movie, but they'll be hard pressed to top this one. Again, the funniest damn movie I have ever seen! Watch it!Movie Review: Very Surprising hit...

Monty Python meets Hot Shots meets Naked Gun meets American Pie....This movie has a little bit of all sides of humor from the whitty ones to the vulgar, so disgusting ones, to the ones that are just so goofy and absured you have to laugh...i used to love the state but thats not what attacted me to this movie, rather it was just a pleasant surprise when i saw most of the states cast was in this and also two of them directed it...top 10 comedies of all time and i really dont see how this movie didnt catch on more although its definetly quickly becoming a cult favorite..look out for the town scene, hits you by surprise, very funny stuff if you get the way its supposed to be funny...awesome movie, highly reccomend!!Movie Review: Either / Or

As you can tell by the other reviews of this movie, there is no middle ground. You will either love it or hate it. If you DO NOT like the Airplane movies, MTV's the State or slapstick-type humor, you will NOT like this film. However, this is no middle of the road generic b-movie as some would have you believe. The reviewers have such strong opinions about the film that 99% of the ratings given are 5 stars or 1 star. I heard so much about this movie over the last year or so, so when I was able to buy it I did.
HANDS DOWN the funniest movie I have seen this year. I wish I had seen it years ago but better late then never.
The cast is amazing, they made this movie such a gem. One crazy thing after another. All I have to say is " It's nice to get away from camp, even if it's only for an hour"...lol.
I love the fact that it's set in the early 80's. It reminds me of the movies from that time.
Buy this movie, you will not be dissapointed.
