Movie Review: They love it!
Summary: 5 Stars
My children (almost 4 and 5) love this video "as much as Diego". For them that is saying a lot. I love it because it makes geography fun, introduces the continents, and has delightful songs. Each continent is represented by a different animal. The animal takes you on a tour of something on his or her continent. Sometimes they meet (like in Istanbul) at places that are near or in two continents. The songs show the flavor of the area. Some of the places covered are more obscure (the Grand Bazaar) while others are more familiar (London). I thought there was nice variety.

Curious kids want to know all about the world around them, no matter the status of their passports. Wee Bee Tunes wacky travel guides, like Alexander Salamander and Cuddly Wuddly Wombat, make enthusiastic tour leaders, accompanying viewers ages 4 through 10 on a musical journey that traverses the world. Historical backgrounds, customs, famous festivals, and major tourist attractions are touched upon for countries like England, Antarctica, Egypt, and the United States. Who could resist a day of shopping at Istanbul's world famous Grand Bazaar in the company of Mae Lin Yak, or a trip down the Amazon River with Oswaldo the Soccer Otter? An onscreen map shows the location of each continent and country, while bright animation and lively, original songs in a variety of styles keep children interested and attentive.
