Movie Reviews of Wayne's World 2Movie Review: Zang! Summary: 5 Stars
The movie picks up about a few months where the last film left off with Cassandra is now a rock singing sensation and Wayne...well...he's still dating her. However, Wayne must deal with another greedy executive trying to steal his girl. Meanwhile, Garth soon finds himself caught in a romantic problem himself as a temptress (Kim Basinger) seduces him, but he soon learns that she's a lot more trouble than he anticipated her to be. With so many comedic performances like when they make fun of the Graduate. Or the infamous Kim Basinger line, "Garth, I'm going to be frank," while Garth replies, "Okay, but can I still be Garth?" It's no wonder why this film was so successful. I do admit the film falls into some cliches, but it never stops being funny. Overall, a great film for the entire family.
Movie Review: Yes sir, I'll remember to cross the T's and dot the......um.........lower case J's. Summary: 5 Stars
Normally, sequels suck. This however, surprised the hell out of me. I loved Wayne's World. Pure genius would be an understatement. This also holds true for the sequel. This movie has the same energy, the same comedic genius, and thankfully the same actors as the original. Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar are possibly two of the best characters ever created. If you loved Wayne's World, you will love this sequel. Wayne's World 2 is superior in many ways to Wayne's World but will never be as recognized as the original. (Anyone that has seen Wayne's World will get that.)
Movie Review: "We're Not Worthy". Summary: 5 Stars
The follow up to the hugely successful first film. This time around Wayne is visited by the spirit of Jim Morrison, in a dream, and then realizes his purpose, he must put on a rock concert in Aurora Illinois, called Waynestock. The laughs ensue from that premise. Christopher Walken is quite good as the sleezy producer/ agent of Wayne's girlfiend, played by Tia Carrere. Eventually, Aerosmith saves the day by appearing at the concert event.
Movie Review: You want me to say what like I don't get it, is that it? Summary: 5 Stars
I have to say that this is one of my favorite comedy flicks of all time. I thought Waynes World 2 was much better then the original. What took this one up a notch was the characters played by Christopher Walken and Chris Farely. The combination of all these great actors coupled with a great premise makes this a must see.
Movie Review: You mean you don't own this movie? Summary: 5 Stars
I've always loved good comedy, and I think both Wayne's World movies rank as true classics of the 1990's. If you haven't seen these movies yet you really should. It's one of the last SNL based movies that were still really well made and funny to watch.
