Movie Review: Amazing movie!!!

Wow, maybe you shouldn't even watch movies, because I don't see what separates Waterworld from other huge Hollywood movies. If you're a fan of any far flung futuristic fantasy (that means cheesy to some of you I guess) definitely watch this movie!!! I just watched it last night on regular DVD in High Def and the picture quality is amazing. I can't wait to get the HDDVD. I'd give this movie of the year. If you're tired of the rest of uncreative teen movie garbage thats currently being churned out, watch this!!!

The story, weak!?!?!? If this isn't a blast of fresh creativity in the vein of The Road Warrior, I don't know what is. You won't find any corny acting here either. The movie is near perfection, especially the story. Waterworld is a thrill ride in an alternate future that's really quite believable. I was so pumped when it was over that I couldn't even sleep for 4 hours.
If you're too stuck in reality to enjoy something like this, go watch Lord of War, American Pie, or some other movie with small amounts of creativity anchored to boring, normal life. If you like stuff like Mad Max, Star Wars, He Man, Road Warrior and all those other futuristic 80s movies (yeah, most of those are older than that), then watch this! Top Notch and with a 200M$ budget you can't deny it!
Movie Review: its Waterworld!

Ok, so I assume that if you are reading this review you either don't know what the movie is or you have heard of it and are looking for other opinions. This movie was hyped up to be a blockbuster smash with, at its time, the largest movie budget ever. It got bad reviews and didn't do well at the box office. It has since turned into a cult classic and is now on HD DVD. HD is dead pretty much by now but people are still buying what is left out there.
This movie has a cool theme based around the polar ice caps melting and covering the world in water. People are trying to survive and one has even evolved. Enter the main character, the Mariner. You follow him through his adventure of trying to save his own skin but ends up helping in the quest for dry land.
The picture quality is very clean and clear. If you are a fan of the movie or want to check it out I recommend it highly despite its poor beginning back in 1995.

THIS MOVIE IS QUITE GOOD AND ALLOT OF FUN, ITS NOT AS BAD AS PEOPLE OR REVIEWERS KEPT MAKING OUT IT WAS, I ENJOYED IT AND WATCHED IT A FEW TIMES SINCE ITS RELEASE!
NOW....
THE HD-DVD VERSION IS EXCELLENT! THE PICTURE IS EXCELLENT CONSIDERING THE MOVIE WAS DONE IN THE LATE 90'S, THE PICTURE I HAVE TO ADMIT LOOKS AS GOOD AS THE RECENT MOVIE'S THAT HAVE COME OUT ON THE FORMAT!
NO SPECIAL FEATURES WHICH IS A SHAME BUT A GREAT MOVIE NONE THE LESS!

This HD version will amazed you with a pristine picture quality and with a perfect surround sound.
I don't know about previous non HD version but here we are talking of real High definition .
This is a piece of material to demonstrate your HD equipments.
By opposite Mad max road warrior is very far from this for which i gave 2 stars.
So buy it without hésitate.

If you like this movie you have to watch in in HD-DVD or Blueray. Although it isnt as good as the newer transfers it is still by far the best verion of this film. I really enjoyed the clarity and crispness of the action scenes. Also at the end, the land looked all that more inviting.
