Movie Review: The poignancy of it brings me to tears
Summary: 5 Stars
All I want to say about this incredibly uplifting movie is that I always end up crying at the funeral scene, when the lottery representative enters the church and the protagonist has to do some quick thinking to avert disaster. He ends up eulogizing his own friend who is sitting in the pew in front of him (see the movie and you'll understand) and the poignancy of that brings me to tears every time. Another nice twist has to do with paternity at the end of the movie (I won't spoil it for you). And the swells of celtic music with the helicopter shot at the end leaves you with such an uplift -- IT'S SIMPLY AN INCREDIBLY HAPPY, HAPPY MOVIE!!
