Movie Review: Best Judgment Day Ever!

This was one of the great ppvs of 2001. This had very solid action and great entertaining stipulations. Thanks for reading.
Rikishi vs. William Regal
I didn't care much for this. This was the only match on the card that was boring. The match just did not show the potential these guys have. Nothing special here besides regal getting the stinkface. Match Rating:2/5
2 Out Of 3 Falls For The Olympic Medals
Chris Benoit vs. Kurt Angle
This was a very exciting matchup. The 1st fall really wasn't even one as benoit pinned angle with a olympic slam in under a minute. The 2nd fall was a submission match and was defiently the most intense and physical. This fall had some pretty nice technical wresting in it and nice submissions pulled out by both men. Angle won this fall with the ankle lock. The 3rd fall was the second best of the three in my opinion. Both competetors took some sick shots from the ladder and at the end edge and christian helped angle regain his medals. Match Rating:5/5
Triple Threat Match For The Hardcore Championship
Rhyno vs. Big Show vs. Test
This was mainly just for entertainment. The match didn't have much weapons, but had the usual all over the place action and even big show falling off some steps onto all kinds of wood and garbage. A very cool ending with rhyno using a trash can to gore the big show! Match Rating:3.75/5
Women's Championship
Chyna vs. Lita
This was actually a good women's match. Lita did well against a much bigger and stronger chyna. Nice wrestling and good submissions by both ladies. Match Rating:3.5/5
Chain Match For The Intercontinental Championship
Triple H vs. Kane
This was a very solid matchup here. Triple H worked on kane's arm early in the match. Both men used the chain in clever ways like when hhh grabed a chair and kane pulled on the chain and then hhh's face smashed right into the chair he had. A cool ending where stone cold interfered and grabed a chair and acidentilly hit triple h and then kane got the cover to win the ic belt. Great encounter! Match Rating:5/5
Tag Team Turmoil For #1 Contendership
A.P.A. vs. Radicalz vs. Dudley Boyz vs. X-Factor vs. Hardy Boyz vs. Edge and Christian vs. Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit
This was the best tag turmoil by far and was over 30 minutes long! APA and radicalz started the match with apa getting a pretty quick pin. For the second match the dudleyz came in and the hollys costed them the match by slaming d-von through a table. Next came x-factor and they eliminated apa with the help of albert and next the hardyz came out and almost got the win, but once agian albert helped x-factor win. Next came y2j and his mystery partner benoit and they made quick work of x-factor. And finnaly e and c arrived for the last match and had a good encounter with jericho and benoit. Benoit got his revenge on e and c as himself and y2j won the match and won the tag titles from stone cold and hhh the next night. Match Rating:4.25/5
No Holds Barred Match For The WWE Championship
Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Undertaker
This was a straight up intense, physical brawl here. In the early going taker and austin fought on the outside, with stone cold really getting dominated. Both men in this match took some sick chair shots and a nice moment where undetaker gave a chokeslam to austin right through the announce table. The ending came where taker was fighting off hhh, mcmahon, and austin and just as undetaker was about to get the last ride on austin he got hit with the sledgehammer and then stone cold got the pin before kane could save taker. Not to thrilled by the ending, but overall this was a very good main event. Match Rating:5/5
This was a very solid judgment day and i highly recommend it to your collection. Thanks for your time!
