World Tag Team Championships
The Big Show and Kane vs. Carlito and Chris Masters
This was an average tag team match. The match was really to set up the carlito and chris masters fued. O.k. start to a great wrestlemania. Match Rating:3/5
Money In The Bank Ladder Match
Ric Flair vs. RVD vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. M. Hardy vs. Finlay vs. Lashley
This was the second annual mitb match. This wasn't as good as the first, but it was spectacular! Lots of highflying jumps and moves used with the ladders inclunding shelton jumping onto the ladder like spiderman. RVD wins the bout. Match Rating:5/5
United States Championship
Chris Benoit vs. JBL
Aggressive matchup here. The bout was o.k. until jbl cheated to win the u.s. title. JBL loses it quickley tho. Match Rating:3.5/5
Hardcore Match
Mick Foley vs. Edge
WOW! This match was defiently hardcore! The weapon use was amazing and foley even coverd himself with barbed wire. Great ending where edge spears foley through a flaming table. Great! Match Rating:5/5
Boogeyman vs. Booker T and Sharmell
This match was really the only damper on the card. Had some comedic spots with the legends. Thank goodness this match was short! Match Rating:2/5
Women's Championship
Thris Stratus vs. Mickie James
This was one of the best women's matches I have seen in a long, long time. This match had good wrestling, a intreging storyline to. Match Rating:4/5
Casket Match
The Undertaker vs. Mark Henry
This match was o.k. and got boring at some points. The Undertaker gave all he had, but mark henry kind of slowed things down. The match does have two good moments where undertaker does the dive over the casket and tombstones mark henry, then puts him in the casket to win. Match Rating:3.5/5
No Holds Barred Match
Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. McMahon
This was a perfect match for the two with the storyline coming into this. Vince got destroyed in this match and a really cool moment where hbk lays mcmahon on a table with a trashcan over his head and then gets on a huge ladder and jumps of to make mcmahon go straight through the table. Brutal and great encounter. Match Rating:5/5
Triple Threat Match For The World Heavyweight Championship
Kurt Angle vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton
This was a great match, but way to short. If this had more time it could have been match of the night. With the time it had it was great. Lots of counters and submissions and rey wins his first world title at the end. Match Rating:4.5/5
WWE Championship
John Cena vs. Triple H
This match was very exciting. The crowd was split between the two men. This match had lots of great spots and it really shocked me when cena reversed the pedigree and locked in the stf to make triple h tap out. The crownd was stunned. This was a great wrestlemania main event. Match Rating:5/5
Great wrestlemania and it was defiently big time! I recommend this to any wwe fan out there. Also includes 2 more discs which includes saturday night's main event and the 2006 hall of fame ceremony. Great set!
