Movie Review: Survivor Series 2004 Review
Summary: 5 Stars
This was the best Survivor Series DVD yet! Below is the match card with the results and my review under.
Match 1: Fatal 4 way match for the Cruiserweight Championship: Spike Dudley(c)vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Billy Kidman vs. Chavo Guerrero
Match 2: Intercontinental Championship: Shelton Benjamin(c) vs. Christian
Match 3: Survivor Series Classic: John Cena, Eddie Guerrero, John Cena, & RVD vs. Carlito, Kurt Angle, Mark Jindrak, & Luther Reigns
Match 4: Undertaker vs. Heidenreich
Match 5: Womens Championship: Trish Stratus(c) vs. Lita

Here are the results with a review
1: Cruiserweight Champion Spike Dudley def. Rey, Kidman, & Chavo
This match was a great opener. There were a few good high flying spots too. Too bad Spike retained the belt but the ending was expeted. Right after rey huracanranas kidman over the top rope, and Spike takes adantage by pinning Chavo. Spike Dudley needs to turn back face and shave his beard!, anyway great match. MATCH
2: Intercontinental Champ Shelton Benjamin def. Christian
This was one of my favorite IC title matches. Shelton proved that he was one of the best athletes in the WWE, and that Christian can be a favorite but still play dirty. Shelton hits an awesome T-Bone to win the match. If it wasnt for Tomko, id give this match 10 stars. MATCH
3: Survivor Series match: Team Cena def. Team Angle
This was a great survivor series classic! As all the other smackdown ones, its short and fast paced. First Carlito was eliminated when he and Jesus drove away from John Cen after a brawl. Then RVD was gone when angle rolled him up and held onto the ropes, (the camera wasnt quick to tell if he kicked out or not), then quickly Jindrak was out after a rollup by eddie, followed by Reigns from a chokeslam by big show. Finally Kurt was eliminated by big show after an f-u by cena, then a frog splash by eddie. Rating: MATCH
4: Undertaker def. Heidenreich
This was one of my favorite matches with the Undertaker in it. Their Casket match at the Royal Rumble was a little better, but this match was better and longer than normal Smackdown matches. I wanted Heidenreich to win, but I knew Taker would win MATCH
5: Womens Champion Trish Stratus def. Lita by dq
Not a match, just 3 minutes of Lita beating the crap out of Trish. The actuall match was about 2 minutes long, this wasnt even a filler. Waste of time in my mind. Trish 'breaks' her nose because of Lita here. Skip it. MATCH RATING RATING.....3
6: WWE Champion JBL def. Booker T
This was a great Championship match that should of been the main event. Of course JBL knocks out Book with the wwe title belt to win the match. But before that, the match was good paced, back and forth action. I wish Booker T won the title, but I guess it wasnt his day. MATCH
7: Survivor Series Classic: Team Orton def. Team Triple H
This match was way better than than smackdowns classic!, as always. First Batista was out after an enzuigiri by Jericho. Then Benoit after a pedigree by Triple H. Then Snitsjy after he was dqd by a chairshot onto Maven. Then immediately after Maven was pinned. When it was down to Edge & Triple H vs. Randy Orton & Chris Jericho. Then Jericho was out after a spear by Edge. Then Edge was out by an RKO, followed by Triple H after another RKO. I didn't expect the ending but Ortons team wins! They get to control Raw for four weeks. Match of the night! MATCH
Overall this was a great survivor series pay per view, with a rating of 53/70, which equals 76/100, this equals almost 4 stars, but for some reason, amazon wont let me change the star rating after editing my review! Anyways this is a good ppv thats worth the money and time.
Movie Review: Preview---Could be the Event of the Year
Summary: 5 Stars
Survivor Series has been one of those events that usually puts out a couple stellar matches and the rest fails. 2004 looks to be mighty impressive on paper but lets look at the booking committie-Vince HBK HHH, now with HBK out this could be verrrrry intersting, but Hulk Hoga....i mean HHH could still screw everyone over. I mean come on now Randy Ortan is good but he is no where ready to be a main eventer so what happens they force him down our throats, he reminds me of HBK ala 96 when the little girls and marks loved him but the true fans hated him, but thats what Vince does best, capitolize on the marks, thats why the WWE is number one....now if this ppv isn't marred by short matches and lame segments we got an event of the year...onto the card.
(SmackDown!) WWE World Heavyweight Title Match:
John Bradshaw Layfield (c) vs. Booker T.
this should be the end of JBL's reign in my view, he has been a lame duck champion, Booker T has been a dedicated hard worker from day one, he made a lame gimmick of he and golddust very entertaining, but now its time to give the Book man his dues, and now that they realize he makes a better face, here is a chance for Smackdown to have a worthy champ. possible ***1/2
(SmackDown!) Classic Survivor Series Match:
Kurt Angle (Captain), Mark Jindrak, Luther Reigns, and Carlito Carribean Cool vs. Eddie Guerrero (Captain), Rob Van Dam, The Big Show, and ?
Another very good looking match, my guess is Cena is gonna be the mystery man and take a break from his movie for this one match to get revenge on Cool Boy. If this doesn't begin a RVD movement, then who knows, but expect RVD, Jindrak, Angle, Guerrero to be the main guys to make this match good...possible ***** match
(RAW) Classic Survivor Series Match:
Triple H (Captain), Batista, Gene Snitsky and Edge vs. Maven, Chris Benoit (Captain), Chris Jericho and Randy Orton
Maven and Snitskty(master of the mic and hair and looking like he is 12) get a big opportunity in this main event match. Screw Randy Orton, only reason he is getting pushed is cause he is HHH's buddy, much like Hogan pushing his friends...hint hint. Benoit and Jericho should be the major title contendors now Johnny Unitis look a like. Adding Edge for the heels makes this match even more incredible looking....possible ***** match
SmackDown! Match:
The Undertaker vs. John Heidenreich
here comes a dud, Undertake just sucks period, is this the early 90's.....no, go home Mean Mark Callous, as for Heindenreich, get some muscle, his body is pathetic, lay off the roids, get some character but mostly get some skill...just another Undertaker domination in my view, cause rumor has it they are gonna build taker/angle for wrestlemania
(RAW) Intercontinental Heavyweight Title Match:
Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Christian
two amazing athletes, this is bound to be a serious contender for the show stealer.....possible ***** match
(RAW) Women's World Title Match:
Trish Stratus (c) vs. Lita
I hate womens matches but this one has a good story behind it and has two women who can actually wrestle, hopefully that new diva slut doesn't play a role cause this could be a good match..possible ***1/2 match
(SmackDown!) World Cruiserweight Title Match: Four-Way Match:

another possible show stealer, i look for a title change, but wouldn't be suprised if Spiker retains, i really expect a lot from this but then again Vince could careless about the cruisers.possible ***** match
there you have it, with the possibility of putting on 4 ***** matches, this could be the PPV of the year or one of the greatest events of all time, do i see that happening, nope, i expect short matches and lame finishes to some......lets hope someone books the hell out of this event as a classic

REY MYSTERIO VS. BILLY KIDMAN VS. CHAVO GUERRERO VS. SPIKE DUDLEY
This was a fantastic opener!!Its a pity though that rey has out grew the cruiserweight division.But thankfully we have Paul London to take his place and wwe has been contemplating bring back Essa Rios!! (if you dont remember him he is the one Lita used to accompany to ringside and he is a fantastic athlete)
Anyway Fantastic match.5 stars
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
SHELTON BENJAMIN VS. CHRISTIAN
my favourite wrestler takes on one of my other favourite wrestlers.In what was a great match for the IC title!I Missed the first bit of the PPV Live because SKY TV company F***** up and wqhen i ordered it it never came on but i saw the end of this match and i watched the Cruiserweight match the next day.

SMACKDOWN! 8 MAN ELIMINATION MATCH
KURT ANGLE, LUTHER REIGNS AND MARK JINDRAK, CARLITO COOL
VS.
BIG SHOW, EDDIE GUERRERO, JOHN CENA, ROB VAN DAM
First of all they could have easily had a 10 man tag here with
rey mysterio still on eddies team(nunzio fills in for rey in fatal fourway) and Jesus on Angles team. Also another review said that carlito didnt have the balls to get in the ring well would you get in the ring with s seperated shoulder?Anyway this match was good but they could have made it better by having Kurt Angle overcome the odds but in the end eddie pins him to get revenge?Oh Yeah and It made RVD look really, really weak to be the only one on his team eliminated.

THE UNDERTAKER VS. HEIDENREICH
Heidenreich wasnt as bad as expected in this match IMO. I like his finisher as Bossmans old move and he took some quite big bumps for a big guy(Last ride)Also there where alot of near falls in this match which could have been more exciting if the crowd was more involved in the match.

What a rip off? alot of people where looking forward to this match actually and they where all let down by this! It lasted under a minute becaus eLita went Psycho.

JOHN BRADHSAW LAYFIELD VS. BOOKER T
This was a hell of a match i was really into it. I do not mind JBl as champion anymore because eveytime he faces someone i allways think there is a chance he will lose the title. I just have one problem though and that is JBl or Big Show going into WM as Champion. I expect it will be JBl and i dont like that at all.(also it has been rumoured that these two will face each other in a barbed wire cage match at No Way Out?Whats up wit Dat!)4 stars
RAW 10 MAN ELIMINATION MATCH
RANDY ORTON, CHRIS JERICHO, CHRIS BENOIT, MAVEN

TRIPLE H, GENE SNITSKY, EDGE, BATISTA
what a great way to top of a great night! I Love these type of matches and this was alot better than the SD! one earlier.But my only problem is i would have had Orton and HHH as the last two last a bit longer.I liked maven returning after being beat up by Snitsky that really added to the excitement of the match and i liked HHH and Edge agaisnt Orton bit at the end.

This was a great event and just forget about the trish and lita bit of the event after all it only lasts a minute but get this tape for the rest of the event.

I'm a big fan of Survivor Series it's my 2nd favorite PPV(Wresltmain of course being first)
1.Fatal Four-Way Match For The Cruiserweight Championship
Spike Dudley(champ) vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Billy Kidman
O.K. match. I hate it how Spike wins though. He picks up the scraps of someone(can't remember who for sure) and gets the pin(7*) 10 being most
2.WWE Intercontinental Championship
Shelton Benjamin(Champ) vs. The SLB Chistian
Good match. Shelton and Christian do a good job in this match. Shelton retains.(8*)
3.Smackdown! Classic Survivor Series Match
Eddie Guerrero, Big Show, Rob Van Dam, and John Cena vs. Kurt Angle, Carlito Caribbean Cool, Mark Jindrak, and Luther Reigns
Good match, but of course the Raw classic match is better. It gets down to Eddie, Show, and Cena, vs. Angle. Cena F-U's him and get the pinfall.(8*)
4.Undertaker vs. Heidenreich with Paul Heyman
Good match. Both do awesome though I hate Heidenreich. He's retarded. Right now the Royal Rumble is coming up and they are having another match, a Casket Match. Thats the match I want to see of them. Undertaker wins this match but does look pretty freaked out after the match.(7*)
5.WWE Women's Championship
Trish Stratus(Champ) vs. Lita
Good match for like the minute it lasted. Lita gets Tris outside and slams her against the baricade. Then smashes her nose several time with a chaor and is disqualified. These two have a rematch for the title 3 or 4 weeks after this on Raw and its a classic Divas match. Lita wins the title(not tonight but on Raw a couple weeks later).(no stars... not really a real match.
6.WWE Championship Match
JBL(Champ) vs. Booker T
Good match till JBL cheats, yet again, top regain the title. Booker T should have won though. But now the Royal Rumble is coming up and JBL has to defend his title in a Triple Threat Match against Kurt Angle and The Big Show. I hope Big Show kills em both(not litterally lol).(7*)
7.Raw Classic Survivor Series Match
Randy Orton, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, and Maven vs. Triple H, Edge, Batista, and Gene Snitsky
Awesome match! Best on the card. It gets down to Randy Orton fighting Triple H, and Edge I think. In the end, Edge goes to spear Orton but he moves and Edge spears HHH by accident. Edge turns around and is laid with an RKO and then a pin. Triple H also eventually gets RKO'ed out of no where and Ortons team wins. During the 4 weeks they control Raw, Eugene and William Regal become Tag Team Champs, Lita wins the Womans Title, and their becomes no World Heavyweight Champion after Edge taps to the crippler at the same time Benoit is pinned in a Triple Threat match against Triple H so there is no World Heavyweight Champion.
Movie Review: 2nd best ppv of the year!!!!!!

Survivor Series was amazing! Every match on this card was fantastic except for the Womens Title match.
Fatal 4-Way Match for the Cruiserweight Championship
Spike Dudley vs Chavo Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio vs Billy Kidman
Best opener to a ppv this year!!!! The missile dropkick Kidman landed was SICK!!!!! Great match poor ending though 9/10
Intercontinental Championship
Shelton Benjamin vs Christian
Great great match! This is Shelton's best match in WWE next to his match at Bad Blood w/ Orton. Shelton gave it everything he had and prevailed in the end. 9/10
Classic Survivor Series Match
Team Eddie vs Team Angle
Eddie had RVD, Big Show, and Cena on his team, and Angle had Luther, Jindrak, and Carlito on his team.Awesome match. Seeing Cena return coming for Carlito had me on my feet. This was a great match. The RAW survivor series match was better but still this was great. 10/10
Undertaker vs Heidenreich
I was SHOCKED at this match. This was a fantastic match. Never in a million years did I think these 2 would put on a great match but they proved me wrong. Great ending w/ Taker using the Chokeslam, Last Ride, and Tombstone to put away the monster Heidenreich. 9.5/10
Womens Championship
Trish Stratus vs Lita
I was expecting A LOT from this match. For the first time ever I thought a womens match would actually be interesting, but they dissappointed me again. However the beat down by Lita on Trish was entertaining. 5/10
WWE Championship
John "Bradshaw" Layfield vs Booker T
I was also surprised at how great this match was. WOW!! What a match. Orlando Jordan contstantly interfered but still the match was great!! JBL may have cheated this time but at Armageddon your time is up JBL!!!!!! 9/10
Classic Survivor Series Match (Winner controls RAW for 1 month)
Team Orton vs Team Triple H
Triple H had Edge, Batista, and Gene Snitsky on his team, and Orton had Jericho, Maven, and Benoit on his team. This was the match of the night hands down. Not as good as the RAW SS match from last year but this was an amazing match nonetheless. In the end, Orton was faced up against HHH and Edge but hit RKO's out of nowhere on both of them to pick up the win, and tomorrow night there will be a over the top battle royal for the World Title on RAW since Orton is the GM. I cant wait. 10/10
This was one of the best Survivor Series ever. Definitely pick it up when it comes out.
