Movie Review: Best PPV of 2002
Summary: 5 Stars
SummerSlam saw the return of HBK and 'The Next Big Thing' become the big thing. This DVD contains extras which contain 5 post match interviews, training with Brock Lesnar, training with The Rock, the HBK story,Making of SummerSlam commercial, The F-5, Sunday Night Heat Kurt Angle Interview, Brock Lesnar V Hulk Hogan 8/8/02 and Shawn Michaels on Byte This. SummerSlam started off with a great opener between Rey Mysterio and Kurt Angle. Chris Benoit defended his Intercontinental title against RVD, HBK made a 4 year come back to battle HHH in a non sanctioned match and The Rock defended his Undiputed title against Brock Lesnar. What a bad night for The Rock, not only did he booed by the crowd he lost his title due to one F-5 by Lesnar. This DVD would be a great buy, this is definetely one the best PPV's of 2002. The only bad thing about the DVD is watching Chris Jericho battle Ric Flair, waste of time. Other than that the PPV is great.Matches

Movie Review: This one is a must own

2002 has been an uneven year for the WWF/WWE. There have been some amazing PPVs and some pretty horrible ones. This said, SummerSlam 2002 was one of the best Pay Per Views i have ever witnessed in my 4 years of being a WWE die hard fan. To me, it was a solid card from beginning to end, with all matches delivering. But there were three highlights. The first one would be the opener with Rey Mysterio Jr. taking on Kurt Angle in one of the most exciting matches of the year. Also, Brock Lesnar dominating Rock for the WWE Undisputed Title was classic, if a bit short. But the reason that this purchase is worth every bit of your money, is the epic, emotional, intense match that Triple H had with the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels. The match literally had every person in the room i was watching it with on the edge of their seats for the duration of the match. Shawn Michaels, after his horrible back injury, put on a better show than most wrestlers would have put on at 100%. In my opinion, it was the match of the year, and is a must own. Plus, you get extras that only sweeten the pot. So, if you're looking to purchase the best WWE programming this year, get this, and also pick up Wrestlemania 2002.
Movie Review: Classic
Summary: 5 Stars
This was without a doubt the best PPV of the past couple of years I believe. The opening match alone sets the tone for the whole event. Kurt Angle and Rey Mysterio battle it out in a fast paced and exciting match. If it weren't for the two main events, I think this would have been the match of the night. But lots of other great matches like Flar vs. Jericho, Benoit vs. RVD, etc... lie ahead. Then comes Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H....I do not know if words can do this match justice because it is just too damn good. At the current moment, this is my pick for match of the year and I don't see anything beating it. I had my doubts on HBK and his ability to perform in this match but those doubts were quickly lost. It's a true classic for wrestling fans. Following the match is another one that is almost as good and would almost tie it I think. The Rock vs. "The Next Big Thing", Brock Lesnar. I couldn't get over how the fans were pulling for Brock (even as a heel) but they booed the Rock almost the whole match. Both put on the match of their lives I think and it was great to see it. I look forawrd too seeing what Brock has in store for the future. This PPV is essential so check it out.Movie Review: The Greatest

Buy one of the greatest WWF ppv's to come onto the market. WWE Summerslam 2002 gave us a ton of excitement and nonstop action. Match 1. Rey Mysterio vs Kurt Angle. This match was a high flying,techincal and action packed all in one. 2. Ric Flair vs Chris Jericho. This match was a technical encounter between a legend and one of the greatest up and comers to come through the WWE. 3. Eddie Guerrero vs Edge. This match was an excellent match with a little bit of everything. 4. WWE Tag Team Championship Match Christain and Lance Storm vs Booker T and Goldust. This macth was filled excitement and pure wrestling skill. 5. WWE Intercontinental Title Match Rob Van Dam vs Chris Benoit. This match was a fast paced match that is sure to keep you at the edge of your seat. 6. Undertaker vs Test. This match was a great match between some of the top big guys in the WWE. 7. Unsanctioned Match HBK Shawn Michaels vs HHH. This match is one of Shawn Michaels and HHH's best matches. It will leave you saying, how did he do that? 8. WWE Undisputed Title Match Brock Lesnar vs The Rock. An excellent match with great action. To put it simple just buy this it is worth it.
