Movie Reviews of WWE No Way Out 2003Movie Review: SHOCKINGLY GREAT PPV!! Summary: 5 Stars
I was very skeptical about getting this PPV. 1) Rock and Hogan I thought would be a major disappointment considering how great their epic at Mania was. 2) Jeff Hardy's wrestling stinks up 75% of all Raw broadcasts. AND TEST was supposed to face Jericho initially. I thought Jeff would bomb (not Swanton either which he always misses). But, with Austin's return against Eric Bischoff and the slight possibility that Rock and Hogan would be a great one, I got it. I was not disappointed with this NO WAY OUT unlike last year.1) Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy-*****! Yes! I put it there. Jeff had his best singles match of his career on this night. He knows how to do a wristlock!!!!!! And knows reversals as well. The end result shows two athletes who, if they wrestle like they did here, are the next icons in the business! 2)Regal/Storm vs Kane/RVD-***3/4. This was a good match. I enjoy watching both teams. But honestly, we all knew who was going to win this one! Here's a clue: Cheerio,eh? 3) Matt Hardy Version 1 vs. Kidman-*****. A great Cruiserweight title match. I don't get SmackDown but this match was so good I didn't need to see the hype. The spot at the end is awesome!!!! 4) Taker vs. Big Show-*****- Taker goes old school on the Big Show's ...! Big Show had one of his better matches in my opinion. I especially liked the fact that Taker couldn't pick up Show, and he had to use all sorts of moves to finally take him down and uses the same move the Taker tapped to to defeat the Show. 5) Lesnar/Benoit vs. Team Angle-*****- Any match that has Benoit and Angle on opposing sides is going to be a good one. Their match at Royal Rumble was off the page and you get to see a little review of what they did. Lesnar has definitely picked up the ball as far as his character and wrestling goes! He is the BIG THING!!! 6) Steiner vs. HHH-***1/2- Steiner is not the most entertaining wrestler in the world but he is a lot better than the stuff people have been spewing about him lately. HHH just adds another name to the HHH effect/"I'm with Steph. You're ...!!!" list. Other than that, good match. 7) Austin vs. Bischoff-*****- Worth the money alone!!!!!! Hilariously entertaining. 8) Rock/Hogan II-*****- While it lacks the "it" factor, the match itself is pretty good. But what makes this match great is The Rock's classic trash talking. The Screw Job is good but not necessary in Montreal. For the past 4 No Way Out's, there has been a screw-job. This night is no different. Overall, 10/10. GET IT Now!

Movie Review: No Way Out 2003 Summary: 5 Stars
MR. MCMAHON GETS HIS WAY; AUSTIN DESTROYS BISCHOFF The WWE Chairman has said that he did not want Hulk Hogan back in WWE, and he sent that message to the Hulkster loud and clear at No Way Out. In a devious scheme that could only come from Vince's mind, The Rock managed to overthrow Hogan for the win in a rematch of their encounter at WrestleMania X-8. But it was hardly a clean victory for the People's Champion. Hogan appeared ready to get the win after nailing a leg drop on his opponent when the arena suddenly went dark! The lights came on seconds later with the referee laying dazed on the mat with a steel chair nearby! Hogan, completely confused, didn't know what to do. He caught sight of Vince walking down the entranceway, but failed to see the referee awaken and slide the chair to The Rock! The Great One clobbered Hogan with the chair and rolled him up for the pin! The Rock left Vince to smile and taunt Hogan by tearing away a shirt that read, "Hulkamania [...]!" As promised, Stone Cold Steve Austin returned to WWE in grand fashion at No Way Out. Stone Cold had no problem dismantling Eric Bischoff. The RAW General Manager's karate skills were simply no match for the seething Texas Rattlesnake, who clearly toyed with his former WCW boss. Stone Cold knocked Bischoff senseless with three Stunners and delivered a fourth after getting the decisive pinfall. Triple H managed to uphold his World Heavyweight Championship despite a strong surge from Scott Steiner. Of course, The Game had his Evolution allies Randy Orton, Ric Flair and Batista to back him on his way to victory. Matt Hardy had to struggle to cut weight, but the move paid off. Matt out dueled Billy Kidman to win the Cruiserweight Championship! Heading into their match against Team Angle, things were looking bleak for Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar. Their partner, Edge was found beaten into submission backstage, forcing a 2-on-3 match up. Benoit and Lesnar refused to back down, and got the win after Charlie Haas tapped out to Benoit's Crippler Crossface! MATCH RESULTS Chris Jericho def. Jeff Hardy William Regal & Lance Storm def. Kane & RVD Matt Hardy def. Billy Kidman for the Cruiserweight Championship The Undertaker def. the Big Show Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar def. Team Angle Triple H def. Scott Steiner Stone Cold def. Eric Bischoff The Rock def. Hulk Hogan
Movie Review: Stone Cold Action Summary: 5 Stars
This pay-per-view is so much better than the previous Royal Rumble. This event had it all from pure technical wrestling to all out brawling. Here is my opinion of the matches. (I won't tell winners.)Chris Jericho vs. Jeff Hardy This is a great match between these two. High flying, non-stop action all the way through.***** World Tag Team Title Match Rvd and Kane vs. William Regal and Lance Storm At first, Rvd and Storm make it look good, but of course the match slows down as the match progresses.*** Cruiserweight Title Billy Kidman vs. Matt Hardy Pretty good cruiserweight action. Matt is an alright champ, but Billy Kidman would be a whole lot better.**** Brock Lesnar and Chris Benoit vs. The whole Team Angle Edge was scheduled to be in this match, but he was taken out backstage. Great, fast paced match with lots of build-up. To me, this is a pure wrestling classic.***** + Undertaker vs. Big Show This was not bad, but it wasn't that good either. At first its good, but it slows down after a while. Similar to the Tag Team Title match.*** World Heavyweight Title Triple H vs. Scott Steiner Okay, i'll make this plain and simple. There is a match with very entertaining build-up. When the match starts, you are bored to death watching two extremely awful and slow wrestlers. This match isn't as bad as the royal rumble match, but still not worth your time.** Stone Cold vs. Eric Bischoff This is the greatest return match of all time. Stone Cold whoops Eric Bischoffs @$$. Entertainment all the way through, and good old J.R. goes nuts. Rock vs. Hogan part 2 This match once again stole the show. Some may not agree with that statement. Amazing. Hulk Hogan still rules and The Rock is still one of the most talented.***** + This is NOT a waste of time or money. This event is just as good as WrestleMania XiX. Great Buy.

Cruiserweight Title Match Billy Kidman vs. Matt Hardy- Good Match. I've become a little MF'er. Winner: Matt Hardy ****stars The Undertaker vs. The Big Show- The Taker was great and the Big Show Sucks! But this match was the best match in the Big Show's career! Taker did a Triangle Choke for the finish. Winner: The Undertaker ****stars Team Angle vs. Chris Benoit and Brock Lesnar- Best Match of the night!!! A wrestling clinic. Winners: Benoit and Lesnar *****stars Raw World Title Match HHH vs. Scott Steiner- Horrible match, but it was leaps and bounds above their Royal Rumble debacle. Winner: HHH **stars Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Eric Bischoff- Stone Cold whipped Eric Bischoff's ass and stunned him no less than 4 times. It's good to have Austin back. Winner: Stone Cold Steve Austin *****stars The Rock vs. Hulk Hogan- The rematch we've all been waiting for did not disappoint. Hogan and the Rock pummled each other from Pillar to Post. Great Screwjob angle at the end. Winner: The Rock *****stars Only 1 match on this PPV was bad, but if you watch it once and then skip it whenever you watch the PPV again, it is a 5 star PPV. Hogan-Rock II did not disappoint. And Austin returned to a thunderous ovation. It overshadowed Hogan's ovation.
