Movie Review: Get this only if your wrestling collector
Summary: 2 Stars
Even though I saw this ppv went it first aired. I barely even remembered it. Except for one or two matches. I put this dvd off for a few years because of the negative reviews. Since this is one of the only ones I didn't own from 03, I decided to check it again. This ppv is nowhere near the worst of 03'. That spot to me belongs to Bad Blood.
Booker T vs. Mark Henry
Not that bad of a match. Next to what Mark Henry has been doing lately, this match makes it seem as if he actually has talent. Booker does his job makin him look good. I enjoyed this match somewhat. 3/5
Intercontinental Title
RVD vs. Randy Orton w/Special ref. Mick Foley
This has to be the best match between these two. For me this was the best match on the card. The added segment in the beginning added a little more to it. A pretty fun match with Mick catching Ric Flair about to interfere. Lots of cool spots in this match. I only wish these two spent the next couple of months feuding. 4.5/5
Intergender Match
Trish Stratus & Lita vs. Christian & Chris Jericho
The storyline leading up to this was stupid at best. The in ring drama during the match was lame as well. I really haven't been pleased with the way Jericho had been used in wwe. To include Christian as well, ever since his fallout with Edge. This should have never made it to ppv. Nothin special at all. It just made me feel some pity for these 4 great athletes, that I'm sure wwe misses now. 2/5
Shawn Michaels vs. Batista
Shawn does a good job makin Batista look good. And Batista does a good job looking believable. A pretty good match. One of the better ones on here. 3.5/5
Maven vs. Matt Hardy
Not even a match, Maven is destroyed before the match begins. 1/5
Tag Team Turmoil for the Tag team Titles
The Dudleyz vs. Hurricane and Rosey vs. Garrison Cade & Mark Jindrak vs. La Resistance vs. Val Venus & Lance Storm vs. Scott Steiner & Test
I was never really a fan of these kind of matches, for the simple fact the team who wins will never be fresh. And it can end up being a squash match later. This match was no exception. To include mid way through it, it just seemed sluggish and not coordinated. Honestly there was nothin special to me in this match. It also has a surprise ending. 2/5
Women's championship
Molly Holly vs. Ivory
These two just didn't have it on this day. It wasn't the worst women's match or anywhere close the worst. They just didn't bring their best and it was boring for the most part. 2.5/5
Triple Threat Match for the Heavyweight Title
Goldberg vs. Kane vs. Triple H
If there was a worst triple threat match, I dont remember it. I just really didn't get into this one for alot of reasons. First, Triple H sold his fear a little to much. I got sick of Goldberg being put over as the ultimate bada**. To include there was a botched table spot. And the later crash through it just wasn't... all there. I also didn't like the ending at all. This is a title match that should be forgotten. 2.5/5
This ppv is skipable if your not really a fan or if your just getting back into wrestling. This should be one of the very last you buy. Its worth a rental at most.
