Movie Review: You don't need to be a wrestling fan to like this movie
Summary: 4 Stars
It's refreshing and energizing to see a young guy going after something crazy and almost impossible --like dropping two weight classes to wrestle an undefeated champ--out of a quest for joyousness and achievement, not out of hate or revenge. Matthew Modine is great as a high-school wrestler with "perfect balance", which gets a bit shaken when he meets a devastatingly attractive older woman. Maybe you don't get any huge surprises in this movie, but it sure is fun.
