Movie Review: Outstanding Production....Great Price for Two Hour DVD!!
Summary: 5 Stars
I was more than pleasantly surprised to watch this DVD...I own four other Ireland DVDs and this is the best one by far. It is produced by Questar and is very professionally done, with stunning photography, a great overview of both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, with an emphasis on natural beauty and scenery, with just enough historical info to be interesting, but not bore you with a history lesson! The narrator has a pleasant and interesting voice, the music is subdued and lovely, is not intrusive or distracting from the photography, but accompanies it beautifully. The time passes far too quickly. The main feature is about 1 hr. twenty five min. the bonus feature on the National Parks of Ireland is great and lasts about 25 min. The bonus footage of the Galway Christmas Choir is good if you like that sort of thing...it's something you don't see every day. Overall, I would highly recommend this to anyone. It is a great deal..for $13.99. I will be getting a couple more for gifts to friends. I also recommend The Magnificent Scenery of Ireland as my second favorite.
