Movie Reviews of Victory at Sea

Movie Review: 26 EPISODES ON 3 DISCS , EPISODES RUN 26 MINUTES !
Summary: 5 Stars

I got mine on Amazon at less than one third the price of the History Channel version.I found it quite watchable. No subtitles but I could hear and understand the narration very well. The picture quality was better than I expected, good in my opinion.I got mine for under $10.and am very pleased. As for the content,I like the production very much. This is a good program.

Movie Review: Vikctory At Sea, the series
Summary: 5 Stars

Believe it or not, this version is far better than the one released by the History Channel two years ago! The reason I say that is this; The sound was terrible. You could not hear the narrator for the music and yet this series cost over $55.00 vice $10.00 for the one I am reviewing. I have always had good quality from Amazon and always will!!!!

Movie Review: Its time to let them have it...
Summary: 5 Stars

I can stil hear the shell's arking across the skies like a tearing sheet.

The soundtrack was even better than I remembered. The use of old war time footage and the naritave coupled with that soundtrack..Awesome..It reminds me of an America that no longer exists excepting in memories now. What a shame it had to pass.

Movie Review: A Great One To Have in the Collection
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great DVD in all respects. Without a doubt, it's one of the best WW II documentaries ever produced. I first saw it on TV in the 50's when I was a very young boy. It's just as great today as it was then. The narration by Leonard Graves is probably the best narration ever for ANY film.

Movie Review: A well done, honest account of war.
Summary: 5 Stars

Seeing these eposodes brought back so many memories. Two of my brothers served in WW 2 with one stationed at Pearl Harbor when it was struck. I would recommend Victory at Sea for all to see, we cannot forget those who have given their lives so we can be free.
