Movie Review: One of the Best 80's Movies around!
Summary: 5 Stars
Great soundtrack, great plot line, and all-in-all, an excellent movie. How can you NOT love this film? Kick back and relive the 80s, from the Valley Girl lingo, the preppy and urban punk styles, and the best techno-pop/punk/new wave soundtrack of any movie I have ever seen. This is a must-see film for anyone that grew up in the 80's and remembers those days fondly.This is one of my all-time favorite films.
Movie Review: Too Funny!

The acting is not great, the story line not original, even the camera work is substandard, but there is something about this flick, perhaps its flaws that is so endearing. Gotta watch it with a girlfriend or three. Nicolas Cage's chest hair in the beach scene cracked us up so much we had pause for a while. I GREW UP IN THE 80S' GENERATION AND THIS MOVIE REALLY SHOWS WHAT WE WERE ALL LIKE THE STYLES WE WORE RIGHT DOWN WITH THE BIG HAIR PEOPLE SHOULD BRING BACK THE STYLE LIKE THE 1970S' HAVE BEEN BROUGHT BACK. I THOUGHT NICHOLAS CAGE WAS HOT IN THAT MOVIE STILL IS AND THE GIRL HE GETS I TOTALLY IDOLIZED WHEN I WAS YOUNGER I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS MOVIE TO THE NEW KIDS OF THIS GENERATIONMovie Review: I LOVE IT!

This is one of the best movies from the 80's. I was only 3 when this movie came out, but I discovered this movie when I was in High School. This is one of the best Early Nic Cage movies. He was a really good punk. The story was just good, life is still like that a little, choosing between your friends and your boyfriend. I wish this movie was easy to get. Although the movie has the classic theme of 'Rich girl meets poor boy'... the movie encapsulated the fads, jargons, fashion, slang and trends that are distinctively - the 80's! Furthermore, the "Valley Girl" soundtrack immensely contributes to the novelty and 'AWESOMENESS' of that era!
