Movie Reviews of Ushpizin

Movie Review: A movie to increase your faith
Summary: 5 Stars

I am a born-again believer and this movie (plot explained above) made me cry, it made me worship and thank God. It inspired me to believe God for everything. I was so moved by the couple praying from their hearts and the way God moved an answered their prayers.
This was also a great story one that could be see over and over again. Do yourself a favor and purchase this movie.

Movie Review: Riveting!
Summary: 5 Stars

Ushpizin is a touching story of a childless couple whose faith in G-d allows them to pull through every occasion. but don't get me wrong, it's not some cliched concoction. In fact, the actors (and in the case of Shuli Rand screenwriters) experienced themselves the metamorphsis portrayed on screen. A wonderful experience and a worthwhile addition to any family collection!

Movie Review: One of our favorites!
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is so cute! It was made by the people of Israel, and I don't think the actors are professional.
It is well done and humorous, and shows how G-d answers prayer. These people love G-d!!
I loved seeing how the religious sector in Israel live, and celebrate Shavuot.
If you love the Jews and Israel, you will love this movie!

Movie Review: Wonderful Film
Summary: 5 Stars

I just watched Ushpizin and I was riveted. I didn't know anything about this film, or how it would play out, and now that I do, I want to watch it again right now. It was really beautiful, though I don't know that I'd call it "light-hearted" as the description said. I highly recommend Ushpizin. And the score is great, I'm hoping a CD is available.

Movie Review: great movie
Summary: 5 Stars

Ushpizen is a wonderful tale set in Jerusalem of a poor orthodox rabbi who desperately needs a miracle,. When he is visited by friends by his rowdy past, his world is upset, and God does not one, butseveral miracles in his life. This movie is so ethnic, you can almost smell and taste the foods, and customs...a truly delightful movie!
