this is a really sweet,really funny,really sad movie.it's one of my favorite romances ever!Adam (christian slater)is sweet but kinda slow but it works!Caroline(marisa tomei) is nice and careing!Cindy(rosie perez)seems nice but is kind of a b!tch.it's an all around great story it wasn't anything like i expected from reading the discription it's sooo much better.I don't think i've ever seen a movie quite like this.if you like this try Bed of RosesMovie Review: Even my date cried !

I remember seeing this in the movies on valentine's day with a guy who I went out with on our first date. I was not prepared for the emotion of this movie. I cried sooo much in the theater that I was embarressed. Funny part is when the movie was over I looked at my date and he was wiping the tears from his eyes. That was quite some time ago but I have recommended the movie to all my friends and family who love Romance movies. The acting is superb and the story is so original. Grown up and now working at a coffe shop. He saves his co-worker (Marisa Tomei) an overly emotional just dumped by her boyfriend waitress,from becoming a rape victim. Thous sparking an interest in both of them to love one another. All laughs provided by Rosie Perez , of course. A Bitter Sweet love story and nothing more. I watched this the first time on TV and 15 minutes before the ending the cable went out!! I ran to Wal Mart to get a copy but they did not carry it. Neither did anyone else! I ordered it from Amazon and couldn't wait to see the ending! Such a great story but never seemed all that popular of a movie. i found this film to be brilliant, it is a true romance i love it. i have watched it tons of times and i enjoy it even more each time i do, i cry all the time even though i know what is coming it is just one of those films. i thought Christian Slater played the role very well as did Marisa Tomei. if you have not seen it yet buy it you will not be disappointed!!
