Movie Review: An absolute art work !
Summary: 5 Stars
I find "Untamed Heart" an absolute art work ! Cynics may comment on the illogical parts of the films (especially the baboon-heart! ) or the predictability of the plot, nevertheless this movie reveals love so tenderly and beautifully. As I watched this movie, the fine chemistry of Tomei and Slater looked like a beautiful dance, with slow motion at the beginning, peak-moments in the middle and tragic yet memorable final movement in the end. Some reviewers said their actings are of mediocre quality, I absolutely disagree -- the chemistry definitely works out between the two actors and it is sensed by the audience as both were crowned with the best movie kiss in 1993. Tip: Enjoy Untamed Heart as if you were looking two ballet dancers , and try to inhale the atmosphere yourself.

Easily one of my favorite films. The chemistry between Marisa Tomei & Christian Slater is magical, and has you longing for something remotely similar. Rosie Perez' character is typically annoying, but not as much of a distraction as she normally is in films, because you spend most of the film pining for Caroline & Adam to be together.Yeah, sometimes the plot seems silly/dumb, but so is life :-)
If you have seen "Before Sunrise," "Bed Of Roses," and other similar movies and enjoyed them, then you'll like this one too. I wouldn't be surprised if James Cameron lifted a little from this movie for "Titanic."
Who would enjoy this movie? Anyone who's romantic at heart :-)

I absolutely fell in love with this movie when i first seen it years ago and knew i had to buy it. The love these two share is so pure and unbelievable. It gives one hope that love is still out there to grasp. The couple meets in a diner where they both work. Her knight in shining armor Adam, a quiet shy but strong and intriguing man sweeps her off her feet being there for her rescuing her through a time of desperate need. She responds by helping him come out of his shell and explore life more. The two fall for each other everyday over and over. I know that this film is loosely based on Christian Slater's real life in the fact that he actually has a baboon's heart, a lemur's pancreas, a donkey's brain and the toes of a crow.
But how a beauty like Tomei would ever fall for him is purely science fiction ... like the time Michael J. Fox went into the time machine car and Christopher Walken played the scientist.
I once fell down a flight of stairs after slipping on a banana peel, cracked my skull wide open. I would rather do that again than have to watch this appaling piece of garbarge.
Movie Review: The Sweetest Love Story Ever

This is my favorite movie of all time. I am definitely in it for the "Happy Ending" most of the time but this movie is worth the tears. I think what I like best is the innocence of the love story. Caroline sees something Adam that no one else saw. Although he is very different and keeps to himself he goes outside of himself and his world to protect Caroline. He is not doing it to get or receive anything from her he is just doing it because he cares for her. How often does that ever happen. "Untamed Heart" is an incredible love Story that everyone should see.
