Movie Review: Please Pass The Kleenex...

Where do I begin? This is one of my most favorite romantic movies of all time! To say it was sweet and yet sad does not even begin to do it justice. This movie draws you in heart and soul. You feel sorry for Adam's tragic life of being left alone as a child because of his bad heart. Then you feel bad for him because he is alone as an adult. Yet at the same time, you feel bad that Caroline can't find love or a decent guy to share time with. Then she finds Adam! When Adam saves her from two rapists, you can't help but believe that chivalry is alive again! You can see Slater and Tomei's chemistry together and they just seem to "fit". One of the most touching parts of the movie for me was when Caroline was cutting Adam's hair and they had a beautiful conversation and he opened his heart about being alone because the Nuns felt it better not to hurt his health by letting him be out with people. Slater did an excellent job of portraying his loneliness, but he also showed a gentleness you don't see in the movies much these days. Adam (Slater) opens up to Caroline and she sees that he has a heart of gold. Caroline (Tomei) did an excellent job taking Adam's love and the two fell in deep! If you love romance movies, you will love this! You will be rooting for the characters all the way! This movie is one you can watch over and over again and never get tired of it. My mother bought me this movie for my 15th birthday back in 1994 and the moment I discovered the story and Marisa Tomei and Christian Slater's Chemistry in this movie I was totally and utterly hooked. Tomei and Slater give the most sublime chemistry together ever in such a tender hearted love story that I have ever seen in any romantic movie. No other love story can tops this realistic romance and loving chemistry between these two characters portrayed by Tomei and Slater. Slater is every woman's dream man in this movie. So gentle,charming and heroic, what woman wouldn't fall for Slater's characer in this film. (The way he secretly follows her in the shadows to protect her, beats to a pulp any thug who messes with her and carries her to safety and stays by her side to make sure she is ok).The story and its characters are completely and undeniably touching, moving and beautiful. Slater's Adam is such a rare knight in shining armor that you don't find in everyday life unless you are blessed with that certain lucky fate to find him and have him find you. This movie will certainly move your heart and spirits in a way that no other love story can. It most definitely is a moonbeam of a love story. Untamed Heart,starring Marisa Tomei and Christian Slater,is one of the best love stories I've ever seen,and one of the saddest.Tomei stars as Caroline(who,even though I know she's a fictitious character,I absolutely fell in love with while watching this movie),a young woman who has been hurt in her relationships.Slater stars as Adam,the shy busboy with a bad heart,who works at the same diner as Caroline,and has loved her from afar.They're brought together,when Adam saves Caroline from two would-be rapists on the way home from work one night.But,later Caroline's assailants stab Adam in the stomach,and while he was in the hospital,Caroline learns that he needs a heart transplant very badly.He refuses,and seems okay for a while and they're love blossoms even further,and when things seem to be going great for Caroline and Adam,he dies on his birthday on the way home from a hockey game.Both Tomei and Slater give Oscar caliber performances,and Rosie Perez is very good as Caroline's best friend Cindy.The musical score by Cliff Eidelmann is very good,and adds to the film a lot.Overall,while probably not for everyone,this is a very good movie which I like a lot.Movie Review: A Beautiful Love Story

"Untamed Heart" is one of my favorite movies! It revolves around a shy, introverted young man named Adam who has fallen in love with one of his co-workers. Every night he walks her home (she doesn't know he's doing it until something drastic happens) to make sure she's safe.Once she sees that Adam is a kind, gentle (almost child-like) soul and isn't the weird guy she always thought, she discovers herself falling just as much in love with him. The bad thing is that Adam's heart, which has been ravaged by disease, is ceasing to work as well as it once had. Adam has tough choice to make: receive a new heart from a donor or keep his heart and love her the way he had in the past (side note: Adam felt that if he lost his original heart he wouldn't love her the same.
This film will definitely tug on your heart strings and make you believe in love regardless of what others tell you or how someone is perceived. If it's strong enough, love can withstand all. I would highly recommend this film!
Movie Review: OMG! THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST LOVE STORY EVER!

THIS IS THE BEST LOVE STORY EVER MADE IN HOLLYWOOD. WITHOUT A DOUBT,I AGREE THAT CHRISTIAN SLATER AND MARISA TOMEI MAKE A GREAT COUPLE ON SCREEN. THEY HAVE GREAT CHEMISTRY ON THE SET AND IN THE MOVIE. THIS MOVIE DEFINITELY DESERVES 5 STARS, AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN NOMINATED FOR BEST SONG/MOVIE/ACTOR, ETC., BECAUSE ALL THREE WERE EXCELLENT IN THE MOVIE(AND SAME WITH EVERYTHING ELSE). I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THE MUSIC AND MY FAVES WERE THE WHOLE SOUNDTRACK AND LIST OF SONGS. TO THOSE WHO TRASHED THIS MOVIE, WELL, I DON'T KNOE WHAT TO SAY TO THEM. I JUST THINK THAT THIS MOVIE WAS THE BEST AND WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY THAT I SPENT TO RENT AND BUY IT. FOR ONCE, IT WAS GOOD SEEING A GREAT LOVE STORY WITH FANTASTIC PERFORMANCES BY THE ACTORS/ACTRESSES AND MUSIC/FILM PRODUCERS. TO ALL THOSE WHO HAVEN'T SEEN IT YET, WATCH IT!!!!! IT'LL BE WORTH YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY!(AND GIVE YOU A GOOD CRY IF YOU REALLY NEED IT!):)
