Movie Reviews of Unlocking The Mystery Of LifeMovie Review: A World of Collective Insanity Summary: 5 Stars Nothing scares me more than the fact that I live in a world where people smirk and roll their eyes at the words 'intelligent design'. The idea that the world and complex living organisms show evidence of....(gasp!)....intelligent design is so 'beyond the pall' it can get you fired, blackballed, thrown out of a university and labeled a moron. This is a crystal clear presentation of the dazzling complexity of life, the mind-boggling inter-relatedness in which one part cannot accidentally arise independently of numerous other parts without forethought and design. Irrefutable.
Movie Review: For thinking people Summary: 5 StarsWe all grew up having unproven scientific ideas shoved down our throats, this DVD makes us look at the real facts and challenge us to listen to some very smart people. I loved it!
Movie Review: A Mystery no longer Summary: 5 StarsVery interesting topic. Apart from those who want to believe what they want to [regardless], any open and fair minded person who have to acknowledge the logical and persuasive argument that is propounded in this DVD. Of course, the evolutionist will bleat that intelligent design is "bad science"! But I have yet to hear a comparable presentation supporting evolution, where the protagonist is not as biased and dogmatic as those who likewise try to convince us that God made the universe and all it contains in just seven 24-hour days. Neither camp is truly objective and free from their own myopic agendas. At least this DVD is refreshingly different and balanced. It doesn't try to "tell you what to believe", but allows you to draw your own conclusions.
Movie Review: Holistic Science Summary: 5 StarsThis was a refreshing update on recent biological scientific discoveries from highly credentialed sources. The beauty, complexity and evident order in the design of living organisms cannot but have a compelling effect upon open minded researchers. The film emphasized that true science must follow the latest evidence. I was impressed by the testimony of accredited scientists who were formerly big believers in evolutionary biology. It took courage & humility to revise their conclusions in light of new findings. Survival of the fittest doesn't explain the arrival of the fittest. Holistic science shows the Darwinian approach to be outdated and inaccurate. This leaves religion and all its hypocrisy out of the picture and simply shows the imperative of a very impressive designer.
Movie Review: Informative, intellectual report on creation Summary: 5 StarsWOW! This was so well done! It's heady but explained so well, it's certainly comprehensible. The quality of the film making and the educational value was exceptional and I bought extra copies to loan out to friends and family members. I like the fact that it sticks to the subject in a scientific way (opposed to getting religious) and shares the opinions of secular scientists who are re-thinking their position. You could give this to people who question creationism without making them feel you are forcing religion down their throat. Buy the sequals, they are great too.
