Movie Reviews of Under FireMovie Review: War Movie from a Reporter's View Summary: 5 Stars
Nick Nolte is at his greatest in this movie. He stole it. Of course, everyone was doing an excellent job or the movie would not have been so moving. Somethimes you laugh, sometimes cry and somtimes you are in a state of horror. I own and would never part with and have seen many times -- my reactions are the same each time. It is war. The danger a reporter on site places his or herself. The Director was excellent. A must see!
Movie Review: War Remembered Summary: 5 Stars
Set in Nicaragua during the Jimmy Carter administration, this very well written, directed, and acted film is made all the better by Jerry Goldsmith's score. The picture and sound quality of the DVD enable this film to be seen for the first time as it was originally presented in theaters in 1983. A repeat-view film, both the DVD and the soundtrack CD are worth owning.
Movie Review: Stands the test of Time Summary: 5 Stars
An underappreciated film, with brilliant performances by Gene Hackman, Nick Nolte, and Joanna Cassidy. All at the top of their game. Director Roger Spottiswoode brings a spare, yet sensual atmosphere to this work. This and Salvador are the best war-journalism films ever made. Do see it.
Movie Review: Great ! Summary: 5 Stars
Best photojournalism movie I've ever seen. Nick Nolte does his usual great job and Ed Harris (a very under-rated actor)turns in a wonderfull performance.
Movie Review: EXCELENT SERVICE Summary: 5 Stars
It is a good product and service, but it took too long for me to receive the picture. Is there any other way to get the products faster?
