Movie Review: Pretty Decent

It's not the best zombie flick I ever saw but it definitely wasn't the worst (that honor goes to Zombiegeddon). I actually found it to be humorous and entertaining even they didn't follow many of the zombie rules that we see in most other zombie flicks. I am a zombieophile so I try to see and read all things zombie. This film was just ok. I laughed once or twice. Not a fan of the new fangled zombies that talk and think but the story had some cute moments. Not much life in this picture. Ok, bad joke. But seriously, zombie stock is going down after this half-dead attempt.
Really, how hard is it too screw this one up? A comedy with zombies and hot chicks in the Old West? I wasn't expecting Shaun of the Dead brilliance, but this one doesn't come anywhere close.
PROBLEMS:
1. This one just wasn't funny. I've laughed more at funerals.
2. Chris Kattan. He can't act, and he's as humorous as leukemia.
3. Zombie make-up looked basically like a green mudd mask.
4. Zombies that run, talk, shoot guns, and sword fight?
5. Nudity was scant, a glimpse at a topless zombie chick.
6. Some decent beheadings, but otherwise not enough blood and gore.

Zombie lovers, you can probably skip this one. Just rewatch Shaun of the Dead.
