Movie Review: Better as a coaster.

The movie's build up was great. The back stories of each character led you to believe something great was gonna happen. Each person discovering their purpose and roles was the foundation for a epic ending battle. Alas the movies ending was the most anti climatic ever. -spoiler- He calls the cops. No battle between the superhero and his arch nemesis, no super intelligent trap that the hero has to narrowly escape, nothing. All he did was walk away and call the cops. At that moment the movie became a Frisbee. And Shyamalan became the most overrated director of all time.Movie Review: Unwatchable is right.

I bought this version at 9.99. I had watched The Sixth sense the day before I bought it. All I can say is I have now watch Unbreakable 3 times in 2 days. Its just very relaxing to watch. Really nice sound track. The cast is perfect. But I want to just address everyone else's review claiming the ending ruins the movie. I completely disagree. The ending is how it should be. It remains a mystery to the appropriate characters. In fact maybe I am not so analytical during a watching than others. I try to put myself in the movie not sitting outside looking in. So therefore I dont see the film for the same reason these other viewers do. I would suggest watching the movie from a non analytical view and imagine yourself as part of the movie. It then will be 5 stars and you will want to watch it repeatedly like myself. No there is no cursing and gore and big action going on. Its a really good story. Its fiction or is it. That part of the movie is great. It kinda puts a hint of goodness in our world of sadness. I personally will re watch it many times I am sure. I try to keep my collection of DVD's limited "no pun intended" to the ones I can watch again and again. Get this movie while you can. Its a bummer when they eventually go away and you can miss out on some really good ones. My only issue with it being that I like it so much is that I wish it got the re mastering treatment that many movies get. But its fine the way it is. And Lastly Unbreakable to me is just as good as "The Sixth Sense" Oh I am watching it again right now. Movie Review: Great Film!

This was my favorite movie that year. It kept me in its grips until the end.
It's ironic that if this movie had not been made, that great show on tv, "Heroes" would not exist. I strongly believe Unbreakable to be the blueprint for Heroes.
It's the question, do superheroes exist? Not in the traditional sense of course.
Buy this, or rent it, and WATCH IT!
This is my favorite M. Knight film.
