Movie Reviews of U2 - Rattle & Hum [Blu-ray]Movie Review: Rattle and Hum BluRay Summary: 5 Stars
The film is grainy and not a particular improvement over the dvd version, but the real prize here is the sound. The DTS 6.1 is incredible. You really feel like you are part of the audience of the shows clipped here. YOu feel as though you are in the warehouse for "Desire" and in the church for "I Still haven't found what I'm looking for. When the film switches from the grainy black and white to the color for "where the Streets Have no name," the picture quality matches the impeccable soundtrack. This is a must own for any U2 fan.
Movie Review: A great Blu Ray disc from Paramount! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great Blu Ray Disc from Paramount, much better than the standard DVD,I was lucky enough to find it on sale for the same price as the DVD so I went Blu Ray and I was not dissapointed, the extras are the pretty much the same as the DVD though!!! A recommended Blu Ray title for the U2 fan!!!By the way, this title was briefly out of print due to the HD Blu Ray War,but since Blu Ray was the victor it's now available again to the retail public!!! A+
Movie Review: Absolute must have Summary: 5 Stars

Movie Review: Improved audio Summary: 4 Stars
I've found that it's the concerts on video that I most often watch nowadays. Always enjoyed this disk on DVD and naturally wanted to upgrade to Blu-Ray. If you have a killer sound system that supports DTS audio you're going to love the improvment. Can't say the video is much improved since this was shot way back in 1988. I'm watching on a 60" Pioneer Plasma and don't see all that much difference. Go for the sound if you have the equipment for it.
Movie Review: The old movie in a new technology Summary: 4 Stars
This movie is more than knowledge by the fans. The quality is excellent.
But...
For a BD I was expecting a better image quality than a DVD. It was made with 1080p but the video looks like the DVD I have, just a little bit better. Looks like a copy of DVD in a Blue Ray format.
But Im not a technician, maybe there is a reason for that.
Anyway, I was expecting a image quality like others recent movies in BD.
