Movie Review: Can't Miss It
Summary: 5 Stars
A huge fan of Jennifer Beals I bought the DVD blindly. However, this movie hits so close to home I shared it with my mother. The testing of a fetus is so controversial and brings so many questions to all that watch the movie. Should I test my child, what would I do, what is the right thing to do? I am of the mindset that just because science can do it, doesn't always mean we should!!! I know it would have robbed my family of 2 lives that were cut short due to a terminal illness...and knowing my own mother, I don't know that she would have had the abortions even if she did know!!!!!
My question is, does this movie have a soundtrack? The music in the movie is awesome! The entire movie was done well...thought provoking and shows what each person can really manage in their own worlds. It will have you thinking about choices you might make....you think!!!!!!
Movie Review: A must see for everyone

I caught this movie on the fly surfing the remote. I was glad I did. My brother is gay and I suspect one of my sons is. Do I care? NO! What I love about both of them is in part because of who they are or may be. I cried with David, felt sorry for his mother, and hated his father. This is an important movie because we have reached that point and the results are scary! Brenden Fraiser was perfect casting as David. He is a talent that is miss used and his range is mostly untapped. This movie also goes to show that emotional capacity, intelligence, and human nature has not and probably will never reach or exceed the speed of technology. And for us to survive, our brave new world, all three need to exceed.Movie Review: A fantastic, outstanding film!! did I mention it's good?

The other reviews describe the story line and what I would have to say beyond the basics is how fantastic every aspect of this film is. The acting in top quality, the production quality is excellant and the story is magnificent. It was refreshing to see a movie that is not about HIV, coming out, sexual over activity or hiding who you are. The gay rolls are played with confidence and honor. A top quality roll model for expanding the concepts of what it is to be gay. I give this film the highest marks and strongly recommend it to everyone!! I really like this movie. The actors are top-notch and the subject matter is deep and frightening. It brings to the forefront what many, including those in the LGBT community, are afraid to REALLY discuss. It's worth owning and gifting. My ONLY negative comment is the actors playing the gay characters don't seem completely comfortable playing a couple. Their interactions were awkward and stiff. I also noticed the straight couples kissed, but these two would 'hug' to express their intimacy. It stood out to me.Movie Review: Great Movie! Great Performances!

This is a great movie that tackles the question about what if we could determine that a child would be gay while it is still in the womb. Brendan Frasier, does a fairly descent job at portraying the gay brother. But, then Brendan is great in every movie. This is a keeper. Buy it for you library, and show your family, it will make them think.
