Movie Review: Refreshing and Smart Film

I found this film to be a refreshing and smart take on a Western. I would rate this film higher than all the John Wayne films put together! The story line was not at all predictable, one of many things I liked about it.Movie Review: Critiqued all elements with a hearty, "Gob Well Done"!

Dollar for dollar Ms. Mullins squeased a lot of production value out of her low budget. This was NOT a multi-million, big budget Hollywood movie folks, it was a 'blood and tears' low budget production! (You get big points for that alone.) There were a lot of strong plot points and well developed characters driving the storyline along. Should we name you the female version of Robert Rodriguez? Keep at it lady! Here is a great opportunity to see a well done independant film that supports women! Not many women have directed a Western.
I enjoyed the film, especially the diverse casting and quality digital cinemaphotography. A good value for the price. I great gift for those who love independant film or just a tride and true Western.

This is a great truly independent film. No big names here...just a great screenplay, beautiful photography, and wonderful original music.
The great thing about digital filmmaking is that it allows gifted and talented artists that may otherwise be shut out of this medium (film) the opportunity to show their stuff.
This film should be a landmark in digital cinema.
I look forward to more work from this talented filmmaker.

The gorgeous location scenes are full of life, the story line is noble and the lovingly passionate attention to the time period detail is evident.
