Summary of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Vol. 4 - Between Death and Danger
Mysteries swirl like a sandstorm around the enigmatic ruins of Sakura's homeland - A site of unknown power, clearly coveted by forces both dark and light, evil and right. Syaoran and his noble friends, Kurogane and Fai, are observed from on high. Destiny's finger might not be the only force pushing them through their hunt. From world to world, a hero's adventure unfolds across the dimensions, their path unmarked yet well defined. Lands of legend and history, contests of magical strength, friendly days and hostile nights. Syaoran must stay constant or all is lost. Feather's float down from the stars, torn asunder if only to prove the power of love.After solving the 300-year-old mystery surrounding the Princess Emeraude and a group of missing children, the heroes of Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle leave the Country of Jade to continue the search for the enchanted feathers of Sakura's memory. Thus far, Syaoran and his friends have only had to contend with minor villains and challengers to obtain the magical feathers. As the first season ofTsubasa builds to its conclusion, the filmmakers suggest more serious threats are involved. Emeraude cautions, "Someone is always watching you," and an unnamed figure who wants the memory feather is doing just that. Could he also be linked to the mysterious warriors and sand storms that King Touya and Yukito are battling back in the Kingdom of Clow?
