Movie Reviews of Truth or Dare?Movie Review: Yeah so I'm gonna need you to go ahead and see Truth or Dare if you can find it. mmkay? Summary: 5 Stars
Nobody would understand this, which is fine because that's actually how Super Sid Bros. likes it, but Truth or Dare was near the top of the Must Be Reviewed list. But that all changed recently when we got the chance to see Truth or Dare, the film that the immortal Wicked Games is the sequel to. Did the two plots intertwine? Of course not, but that's why we love b. One thing that the two films did have in common was the Tim Ritter signature, a Wicked Games moment right out of the Santa just got picked again playbook.
Truth or Dare's main character is Mike Strauber, the Bill Lumbergher look-a-like with the enormous brown Santa Specs from the 80's. Mike walks in on his girl and his buddy upon coming home one day. I guess the old boy didn't want his lady having too much fun while he was away, you know what I mean? So he leaves and becomes a total nutbar. He goes back to kill them both, but he's only able to clip the buddy before his ex girlfriend slices him because he holds his knife above her head for a solid 5 seconds. Anyway this lands Mike in a mental institution from which he breaks out in a phenominal sequence. All of the sudden after he breaks out, he's wearing a copper mask. No idea why. He obviously does some more slayings and cut. End of film.
This was an outstanding movie all the way around. It had 9/10 B elements. The only one that was missing was awful film quality. This one was not shot with a camcorder. Very disappointing. Other than that though, it was a great viewing experiance. The truth or dare, by the way, was trying to figure out if any of these actors got paid or worked again. The answer: mmm no. Did someone say Drive-In Totals?
5 kicks missed by a total of 384 feet.
8 gallons of corn syrup as fake blood
1 pencil to the eye
1 mutilated leg eventhough the dare was to "cut your arm off"
3 scenes repeated at least 4 times.
4 times you thought the movie was ending but it didn't
5 breasts.
