Movie Review: One of the good ones, except the wig! Why can't they get better wigs?
Summary: 4 Stars
A good story, told well, without extraneous material to spoil the plot. Good support actors.
The villain is a baaaaad boy, well played I guess, because I REALLY didn't like him at all! Chad Lowe was doing some kind of mouth thing that I suppose was meant to make his baby face look like a street thug. All it did was distract me. Sherilyn Fenn only serves as a prop here. I think both brothers were falling for her, but only the kid let it be known. Some tension with that might have added interest, but there was enough to deal with in the time allotted. Probably a good call to not try to cram in too many subplots.
Fahey's character acts like the "typical male", macho, getting into fights, not showing emotions, joking off shotgun wounds, able to surgically remove a bullet, but has a good heart and a good goal.
This has nothing to do with the review, but I don't know if he did it himself, or a stunt double, but the bit under the trains impressed me, moving just like a spider, limber, quick and light.
Worth watching. One of Fahey's better movies.
