Movie Review: Cute, inspirational and entertaining!

Get a group of rich kids from Beverly Hills and a zany troop leader that proves that with hardwork and determination you can do anything; despite, the nay-sayers, and voile' you have "Troop Beverly Hills."
"Troop Beverly Hills" is an adorable film about a thirty-something troop leader, Phyllis Nefler (Shelley Long) who decides that she's tired of being ordinary and spending countless hours of shopping on Rodeo, so she decides to head out into a new venture, become her daughter's Wilderness Girls Troop Leader.
Not liking the standard uniforms, "Mrs. Nefler" makes some designer alterations to the standard uniform when the tailor says in a humours and appalling voice, "What is that?!" He then proceeds to handle it as if it's a dirty rag--it's hilarious!
This film is cute because it's about a woman, who decides that you can do anything you want to do, you just have to be willing to prove yourself for yourself and you can do it!
An excellent morale booster for children! Especially, little girls because I used to watch this with my little kid sister when she was about 4, who thoroughly enjoyed dancing to the music--very adorable!
I highly recommend this film for little girls and even teenage girls because they will be amused by the quirky lines and the fun plot! Especially, the "I can attitude" that this film exonerates.
Recommended for ALL ages!
Buy or rent it, you'll be glad you did!

Shocking but as time passes by I understand why 80's comedy cheap movies where the cream of the cop....well they were simply carefree movies that didn't mind been extremely cheesy, corny, lame and outrageous, Beverly Hills Trooper, is one of those absurd movies that as simple as it comes, it's really funny....I was a kid when this movie came, and as a BOY I thought the movie was well, s..., but then it was so so so out of place, out of reality, that you end up laughing and liking Miss Long....well this is a akward movie about some brats from of course Beverly Hills tryin' to make it into the wilderness, but they missachieve some purposes cos of their wealthy nature, this movie is funny. Although I did not get to see this movie until I was about 13 (I'm 18 now), I have to say that this is an absolutely hilarious movie! How can you not love seeing these spoiled Beverly Hills girls doing what they consider "roughing it" by sleeping at the Beverly Hills hotel, or making a dress-rack backpack for the craft fair? In the end though, they show that money may buy you the world, but it's true spirit that wins the race. A funny movie, with an excellent message. Buy it, watch it, you won't be disappointed!Movie Review: I loved this movie and can still recite the lines...

This had to be one of the best movies growing up. Shelly long was so child like and had a sweet innocence about her although saddity. I always wondered why it was only one little black girl in this movie though. Well I guess we are still a rare commodity in Beverly Hills..anyways I loved it and this movie made me want to be a girl scout!

Movie Review: A New Spin on Girl Scout Troops

I had been involved with my daughter's Girl Scout Troop for several years. We recently took the "suburban" tweens on a camping trip. We found that our girls needed more experience with the camping experience. This DVD was hilarious. I bought several copies for the other mothers who accompanied me during our week of camping. They remember the movie and was glad to see it again.
