Movie Reviews of Travellers & MagiciansMovie Review: Traveling in Bhutan Summary: 5 Stars
I loved the movie Travellers & Magicians made in Bhutan which is a country in the Himalayas near Tibet and Nepal. This movie shows the clothes and country side of Bhutan an tells of some of the customs of this Himalayan Kingdom. Also it has English sub titles so you can hear the language too. I happen to be travelling to Bhutan next May and found the movie a good introduction to Bhutan.

Movie Review: Seeing life as a dreams (dreams in dreams) Summary: 5 Stars
It's amazing to see Bhutan on the movi3. I found is extraordinary, while all the country is measure by Gross National Product, Bhutan is the only sane country that measure Gross National Hapiness. Seeing Tshewang Dendup (Dondup) playing his role is an interesting part on this movie . His amaxzing since the beginning.
Deki Yangsom has a classical beauty on the picture with the hidden sadness in her eyes.
Movie Review: Travellers and Magicians Summary: 5 Stars
Film-maker Khyentse Norbu (also a revered Buddhist lama) has fashioned a gentle, lyrical film that's also wise and thought-provoking, if you can take your eyes off the lush, dazzling Bhutan scenery. Though Dondup's comical adventure stands on its own (particularly his uneasy interactions with the monk), the movie's astounding visual beauty elevates it to a whole new level. Eye-candy for the soul.
Movie Review: Enchanting Movie Summary: 5 Stars
I echo the views of the most of the reviewers--this is an enchanting movie (and I disagree entirely with the one reviewer who found it not to his liking). I have just returned from Bhutan and the movie captures quite well the spectacular scenery of the country. But, even more, it captures the spririt and ethos of the Bhutanese people. It is a rewarding movie.
Movie Review: kudos for an outstanding movie Summary: 5 Stars
I really loved this picture.Having visited this country, made friends with local people,I can see not much has really changed. The scenery is spectacular and loved the little scene where the man ,in the back of the truck, stuffs a betle nut leaf into his mouth,so typical.Carolyn L.Sedro Woolley,Wash.
