Movie Review: Hmm what to think aboutTraitor.

i am very conflicted by this movie while i loved the thriller aspect of this film, it's subject matter was disturbing to me. any religion that kills in name of any god and thinks that he's going to pleased is going to have a rude awakening when he dies, i'd only kill if it was self defense to protect my family never the other way around. so that why i can't fully get into this film i wish people in the world, would have more common sense and not do stuff like this and be peaceful, would'nt that be nice. Don Cheadle should win another oscar for his performance in this film of the tormented soul split between two loyalties .
It's PG-13 for intense violent scenes and lauguage one f-word used in this film. This is not a movie for kids period.
P.S. if you're still up in the air about seeing maybe you should wait until DVD release or PPV and pay less to see it.
Movie Review: Wasn't what I thought!

This movie really wasn't what I thought it would be! I thought something along the lines of a spy working for the government..etc same ol stuff ya know?
But to have an American actor play a part about a Muslim Extremist that gwts so deep inside that world.. Was a complete shocker to me!
I think it's quite clear where he stands.He wants to the stop the Death.But to stop it he had to embrace it! He knew his faith wasn't about killing people but the political figures of Islam kept brain-washing their people into this thinking.Towards the end of the movie there's a line "He betrayed Allah"...talking about the leaders of the group.And I think he knew America was trying to stop it even though we're not perfect either!
Overall it's a great movie,really not what yo u think it's gonna be and great acting!
It's a great Buy!

Awesome thriller. Why this didn't do better, I'll never know. The camera work is great, somewhere between "Babel" and "Munich". Don Cheadle proves he's an actor of substance. The twists and turns are wild and bring a many surprises along the way. The story itself is set in many different places around the globe. (actually the only 'unreal' thing seemed to be the prison in Yemen; way too clean!). Supporting actor Jeff Daniels also does an impressive job. My father and husband also enjoyed this DVD and put it in their top faves of the year. I say take a gander, you'll love it!Movie Review: Excellent performance by Don Cheadle

This thriller doesn't focus on explosions and car chases. Instead, it focuses on religion and fanaticism and the negative stereotypes of Islam, and it does a hell of a job, too. It kept me interested from start to finish. But what I like most about this movie is Don Cheadle's performance. He's believable in every shot he's in, especially when he interacts with the FBI and the Agent Clayton (Peaarce) and Omar (Taghmaoui). His acting as a whole is what makes this film a whole lot better. Jeff Daniels was a bit underused in my opinion, but he does a decent job playing his part. And finally, the minimal Middle Eastern music creates the perfect atmosphere for this film. Kudos to Mark Kilian for the score. In fact, kudos to the entire cast and crew for making this movie.

Movie Review: A Riveting Terrorism Thriller

This is an action packed show that crisscrosses the globe from Africa to Europe to the United States.
It features Don Cheadle as Samir Horn, an American Muslim who was born in Sudan. His father was murdered by some faction which greatly impacted Samir's life. He was a Special Forces soldier who is now being hunted by the FBI as a terrorist.
FBI Special Agent Roy Clayton (Guy Pearce) is relentlessly pursuing him from one continent to another. Clayton realizes that everything may not be as it seems.
This is a top notch thriller. Cheadle is superb in this role. There is nonstop action that will keep viewers entertained throughout. For anyone who loves an intense movie, this is a great one to get.
