Movie Reviews of Tourist Trap

Movie Review: Watch this movie after midnght...
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie freaked me out many years ago late night on cable. I always remembered it and just bought it on DVD. I'm happy to say that it holds up well after all these years. Watch it late and it'll really get to you. Nice to see Chuck Conners again and my god where did he come up with this kind of insane performance. Some truly terrifying scenes in this film. And Tanya Roberts has one of her first roles here and is a stunningly beautiful woman(and still is with her role on That 70's Show). And that last shot in the film.....woah!! Great Stuff! Now I've got to see if Black Christmas is on DVD yet.

Movie Review: One of my top ten favorite horror movies!
Summary: 5 Stars

This has got to be one of the creepiest movies ever! Forget garbage like scream and i know what you did last summer. this is real horror! a group of friends get stranded at a wax museum run by chuck connors. the wax museum is filled with these creepy mannequins who.. well im not going to ruin it for you! Watch the movie! I cannot believe i had never seen this earlier. From beginning to end this movie will have you on the edge of your seat! beautiful music by pino donaggio. ONe of my top ten favorite horror movies! Highly recommended. I watch alot of horror movies and this is one of the best! Just get it!

Movie Review: The Rifleman is mad! MAD I 5 Stars

A rare horror gem of uncommon power. A backroads tourist trap lures naive teenagers into a sense of safety when suddenly Lucas Mcann jumps out from the shadows and fire his rifle away. Oh yes, Mark was in trouble again. This is one of those movies where the hot chick always gets it before you've gotten to confirm whether the poor girl was cold or not. If not for the nice gorey approach and the demented performance by Chuck Connors I would say this movie was a waste of film. But alas, it truly is a classic in every sense of the word. And at this price who could say no?

Movie Review: I still don't like mannequins
Summary: 5 Stars

This movie is just crazy scary. I saw this on some channel in the early 80's and just couldn't believe it. I consider myself a horror movie fanatic and have seen hundred's of scare flicks but this is still one of the very few that can get to me. Every time you think it can't get any crazier it does. This has very little gore, but it doesn't need it. I don't even like to see mannequins in department stores anymore, and I've always hated dolls. Watch it with the lights out by yourself for maximum effect.

Movie Review: under-appreciated gem!
Summary: 5 Stars

I've always been a horror fan,and I remembered seeing this creepy movie on HBO back in the early 80s.I never forgot this cool flick and was psyched when I saw it on DVD!Every bit as chilling today as it was back then.Robert A Burns, art director for TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE(remember the bone furniture?),does a similar job here. The print is fantastic, though full screen, and the sound is good.Running commentary by the director is included, and is interesting.A fine slice of late 70s terror.
