Movie Review: Offsetting two inappropriate one-star reviews

Please don't drag ratings of fine movies down with complaints about box labeling and other such peripheral matters--that's a consumer issue, not a film review.
These are excellent films, highly entertaining, humorous, and well scripted and acted. Classics in fact. The print quality is supernaturally excellent, so fine in fact that I'm stunned anyone would gripe about it.
If there's an issue with the close-captioned feature a concerned purchaser should direct a complaint to the manufacturer and/or distributor. Simply informing us of the problem as part of a sensible review of the film proper would have been appreciated.
Movie Review: clear DVD from Artisan

This is a good transfer indeed. I know Artisan is hit and miss. This DVD title is clear. The 1st Topper is always my favorite. Why? Cary Grant and Constance Bennett are in it. Wow she has a figure no man today would turn away. And I am a woman saying that.The second movie has the couple that play the Toppers. But Not the Kirbys. (No Grant and Bennett). he Kirby's haven't been re cast, they aren't in it. It is still an interresting movie though. A comedy/murder movie.
At the price this DVD can be bought at it is a steal. A must get for your collection.

Both movies are really good!With mystery and alot of humor.The first one is with Cary Grant and it is quite good,but the second one is actually better with the same "Cosmo Topper",in this it is more of a mystery and a little scary in a kind of funny way.When a gal gets murdered she goes to Topper for his help to solve the case! I love these movies where the cops are totally funny where they don't have a clue about what is going on! If you see one of the Topper movies you've got to see the next!Movie Review: Both films look perfectly gorgeous on this DVD.

I couldn't be more pleased with the image quality of both TOPPER and TOPPER RETURNS on this DVD from Hallmark & Artisan, and I'm a demanding viewer. Both prints are top-notch and the transfers are outstanding, offering extremely clean, clear presentations. I'm so pleased with this DVD that I was compelled to write this (my first note on Amazon) just to assure fellow fans of these great comedies that you should by all means order this disc with confidence.Movie Review: Topper is a classic!

I was so happy when I saw that this classic film was finally on DVD. Topper is a masterpiece, especially considering when the film was made! It is full of fun special effects, and tons of humor. Topper Returns isn't nearly as wonderful as Topper, but I was happy that they included it in this DVD anyway. If you are looking for a lighthearted, romantic, and just plain fun movie, get Topper. You will be adding it to your list of favorites.
