Movie Review: Best movie ever

Top Secret was made back in 1984 when satire and parody hadn't been run into the ground. Still, this movie is as fresh and funny as any of today's flicks in the genre (some jokes are a bit dated). I can't wait for the deleted scenes, trailers and commentary on the DVD. This movie is just as good as Airplane and the Naked Gun, but bombed at the theaters.Movie Review: All time favourite comedy

My all time favourite comedy set in the german war era about good guys against bad, but with some very unusual twists and turns and hilarious outtakes. What on earth is a fireplace doing parachuting, and the old western underwater bar complete with bartenders, locals and chandelier? I've been patiently waiting for this DVD release for a couple of years now. Airplane I&II and the Naked Gun series are great, but this one is the best. The Omar Sharif "compact car" scene is a classic and it still puts me on the floor after all of these years. This film is Val Kilmer's best work by far. Not only does he show off his talent as a vocalist, but this is his most believable role in any movie I have ever seen him in. I LOVE THIS MOVIE...from the opening credits to the end, this movie is hilarious. There are so many funny scenes...from Val Kilmer's marvelous Elvis impersonation to the underwater fight scene. Unless you're hopelessly unable to let go and have some fun, you'll laugh your head off. Buy and enjoy!
